Young Jeezy taps Beyonce for new single?

Low Key over at BET.com is reporting that rapper Young Jeezy will team up with Beyonce for the first single from his upcoming fourth album Thug Motivation 103.

Jeezy already dropped the official street single from the street single from the album “Lost My Mind” featuring Plies, so it looks like he’s enlisted Bey to help give him a boost at radio for the main single.

There’s no word yet on who produced it or what it sounds like, but Low Key says that we could have it within a week. Neither Bey or Jeezy’s camps have have any official announcement about he collabo, but Low Key is swearing that the rumor is true, citing sources close to Jeezy.

This will now mark the third single that Beyonce has featured on recently after she shot a video for her duet with Lady GaGa “Telephone” and one with Alicia Keys for their single “Put It In A Love Song”.

When does this break she’s been talking about officially start? It doesn’t count as a break if you’re featured on major singles for a pop artist, an R&B singer and a rapper!

    Well, I think that she said that she was done with making music as of now, but I always thought that she meant music for her, not a collabo here and there.

    Prophet, but that is what she’s doing lol. She chillin at home learning how to cook, going on cruises with Jay, etc. Just because a video comes out with her in it doesn’t mean she’s not taking a break. That’s not her currently in the video at that second. It’s been filmed when she wasn’t on break so why is it a problem?

    And I doubt she’s gonna come out with a new album this year. I don’t think she meant it like that when she said that during the tour. At least I hope not. Especially since six months from now it’ll be September. I say just come out with a new album early next year, which I hope and think she will do.

    But this is what I have a problem with. People are telling to take a break yet no one says anything when Rihanna releases two album within a year of each other. New album this summer? All her album releases are within a year of each other yet no one tells her to go sit down and take a break.

    But when it comes to Bey, it’s a problem. Why such a double standard. Not meaning just you, Proph, but just in general. Its what I’ve noticed with people. Can we just let Bey live her best life the way she wants to live it?

    B’s problem isn’t that she’s not taking a break, its that its been a Beyonce overload since October ’08. With it just being March ’10 and a possible THREE Bey collaborations set to be released soon & the rumored 4th album this year [or next, which is still too soon], which follow the EIGHT singles from I Am…, its a classic case of overexposure

All the records she broke or what ever and she can’t take a break? I think she has given her fans way more of enough for them to try and miss her. Many stars have taken breaks and came back strong and they gave fans a reason to miss them. Beyonce is DIFFERENT from many artist i know young and old. She’s in lane of her own, which has to be lonely.

    I don’t think Beyonce is going to come out with an album this year. She said it, but after that is when she stated she was taking a break. Which means she was obviously advised to chill out. Be a wife. Enjoy your millions of millions of dollars. Her break starts when her tour ends. Her tour officially ENDED last week. So her “break” starts NOW. This is her break. And by a break im assuming that SHE’S assuming making music for HERSELF. If someone wants to pay to her do a callabo whats the problem? She ain’t snatchin nobody’s wig on Jeezy callabo so calm down.

    Beyonce is just wonderful. She is taking a break. She isn’t releasing more singles off of her album and she isn’t in any movies right now and she’s not promoting her album right now so she’s taking a break from her music. She can still be featured on other people’s music because it’s not like it’s her song. I’m sure she doing alot more things such as relaxing and vacationing but she can hop on people’s songs here and there without compromising her “break.”

    I guess people can call me a hater, but I’ve been done with Beyonce since her first album. I was excited for her success, still am. However, I myself can only take so much. No one should be telling her how to live her life, but if consumers of are saying go away it might not be a bad business idea.

    @ Prophet, I think singers like Sade, who take 10 years off aren’t in it completely for the money, but I could be wrong even about her. I’m not mad at Beyonce’s hustle, but it makes me think Beyonce’s camp is scared that she doesn’t have a solid fan base that will still be there 1,2,3… years from now because of the “non classic” hits they produce.
