Who the f*%k wants to smell like this?

Lady GaGa has just debuted the official trailer / TV spot for her first fragrance, Fame. And you know what? It’s absolutely stunning. Stunning for a music video or a movie, that is. For a perfume, not so much.

Rolling around in a puddle of black goo may have worked for Christina Milian in “Dip It Low”, but it’s certainly not working for GaGa in this commercial. Who the fuck wants to smell like the next Alien sequel? Fame looks about as enticing as the med-pod self-abortion scene in Prometheus.

Look for GaGa’s perfume when it hits stores later this month. You’ll be able to find it sitting in the celebrity fragrance bargain bin, right next to Paris Hilton’s Can Can, Beyonce’s Heat, and Nicole Polizzi’s Snooki.

    Looked like the trailer for the next Alien Vs. Predator movie.

    Was it good? YES IT WAS REALLY GOOD! Visually stunning!
    But I agree, doesn’t match with her perfume, even the title… where’s the FAME in the AD? I have no idea.
    She should’ve made the commercial, ala Beautiful Dirty Rich with a little mix of Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) coz’ she was smiling there and the mood of the video is fun which is rare for a GaGa video.

    This looks typical of her actually. She’s just pandering to her fans with this type of stuff. She just needs for girls to know that its out. With perfume the real test is actually in the store when they smell it. I’ve seen people comment about britney’s perfumes and are actually surprised that it smells good. I am even intrigued to what Gaga’s perfume smells like and I hate wearing cologne. I probably should though but it takes too much work finding the right one for yourself.

    OMFG I just realized it has parts of Scheiße in it. I hope it’s an unofficial music video like you said, alex cooper, it looks fucking amazing!

    Also I always thought the perfume’s bottle looked like an Alien egg. This video suits it.

    Lol. Nothing she does is unique to me anymore. It all feels the same. Oh Look at me, I had the highest eduction at Julliard, but really, trust me, i’m a freak. I promise!     Typical shade for what is obviously the best and highest budget fragrance campaign since god knows when. All I know is that I have yet to see a Gaga fan unimpressed with this trailer – and that’s her demographic! I’m loving the Alejandro-throwback feel, that was my favourite video of hers. Looks EPIC.

    The advert is inticing and pulls you in but is also slightly scary and dark, like fame, that’s the whole concept of the perfume it’s inticing looking but black. :)
