With her latest album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel flailing about and gasping for air on the charts, diva Mariah Carey has returned to the drawing board and hatched a plan to send her straight back to the top.

Mimi first collaborated with the British boy band on their sappy duet “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)” back in 2000. The song was a big hit and even went to #1 in the UK.
Westlife aren’t exactly my cup of tea so I’ll probably give this one a miss, but hey, you can’t blame a gal for trying!

If I remember correctly, she openly admitted she didn’t want to do the 2000 duet with westlife, hated the song & they a few of them bad-mouthed her after saying she was too controling in the studio haha.

The industry is extremely competitive and every aspect of Mariah’s career needs to be on point. She’s a perfectionist and that trait, unfortunately, leads to all the surrounding negativity and her being labeled as “controlling”. They’re concluding that’s she’s some bitchy diva with a pole lodged up her ass because she wants HER song done HER way. Bullshit.
Just because MOAIA isnt selling millions of copies i dont think this era is bad at all. overall i think its a really good era, Precious is doing really well, Her album is really good imo, & her performances have been really good as well as her interviews. im looking forward to the remix album, i think she just needs some better pple behind her. this song will prolly be big in the UK, i wanna know… might be too.

How can you try to drag the sucess of Precious into the era of her personal album bomb! The era is horrible for the album- Business wise she is not generating the profit she needs for the business which is the only reason she’s doing these tacky one or two-nighter shows everyone now & again (and charges up to $1000 for them)

Good era for Mimi, she is obviously happy and we’re getting some great live performances from her. The public are probably tired of her but she can keep on doing what she’s doing. Her fans love MOAIA. If y’all wanna listen to dancers like Britney, Gaga and J.Lo, feel free, I prefer quality.
