Watch Rihanna touch her vagina during “Cockiness” VMA performance

Rihanna was the star whose record label paid MTV the most money this year in order to get the honor of opening the MTV VMAs.

The superstar performed the best pop song of last year, “We Found Love”, as well as her latest Talk That Talk single, “Cockiness”, which now features rapper-of-the-moment A$AP Rocky.

“Cockiness” is a good single choice for RiRi so I was looking forward to this performance, but it turned out to be just another typical Rihanna showing. She just kept opening her legs in that lazy half wine she always does and pointing to her tuna taco for the first part, and then walked into the VMA crowd to sing “We Found Love”.

Can somebody please tell Rihanna and Beyonce that they don’t need to make their vaginas the centerpiece of all their performances? Rihanna’s a beautiful woman and Beyonce isn’t too bad if you dim the lights and squint, so they should have more to offer than just the power of the pussy.

Boring performance aside, I loved Rihanna’s Hindu Erykah Badu look. Very pretty.

    Rihanna needs to go back when she peformed “Disturbia” that was great, and also VMA’s needs to go back to smaller stages, this big stages like this one and last year seens like no one can handle them exept for P!nk and Frank Ocean, so far.

    Firstly, RiRi looked GORGEOUS! She totally slayed on that front.
    Cockiness was pure mess (kudos for the bit of choreo tho), but just as a whole, it lacked heavily the stage presence.
    We Found Love would’ve been flawless if she sang more than just 2 lines LMFAO

I’ve yet to see any of these chicks give a performance close to the epicness of beyonce billboard awards performance last year and that song sucks LOL I agree with everything u said about rihanna but beyonce really could of saved this boring ass show tonight …

    The Illuminati opening with all the serpent/Egyptian themed symbolism is old at this point and We Found Love is…blah at this point. She looked beautiful but I didn’t like the red blooded outfit she was wearing as probably a sacrifice undertone. blah. Try Again RiRi. I do appreciate the energy.

    I bet if you hop over to toya’s blog right now, she will say this performance slayed. Only riri can get away with a backing track and a boring performance by Toya.     I loved the performance, and the dancing was no big thing but it definitely suits the song. And her vocals were on point, I loved the We Found Love vocals.

    Has anybody seen the Alicia Keys performance? It was sooo bad, she learned some gimmicks from Nicki and the way she sings it was so irritating!

    I’m glad I ain’t the only one that was disappointed by the performance or moreso the “choreography”. It really did feel like she was just strutting on stage and every once in a while do A move. I still don’t think she can sing well live, but that’s just me. I’ll just stick to listening to the album versions!

    I actually loved this performance!! I’m loving Rihanna’s militant look and the A$AP Rocky feature, it gives the song new life and hopefully does the same with “Talk That Talk” ..though it is a shame that the ground-breaking “Drunk On Love” has yet to be released. #sighs. /
