Watch Nicole Scherzinger shake it in will.i.am’s “Hoola Hoop” music video

Will.i.am has been more than a little ‘extra’ in his attempts to get the world to care about his soon-to-flop #willpower album. He cashed in favors to get the likes of Rihanna and Britney to feature on the disc, premiered a song live from Mars last night, and now he’s dropped a new viral video masked as a top secret leak called “Hoola Hoop”.

The song features Nicole Scherzinger, who dons a blonde wig and twerks her perfect body under the porntastic alias of Mona Lisa Nicci Sundae.

Miss Sundae aside, you know what the worst thing about this desperate stunt is? I actually kind of like it.

“Hoola Hoop” is like Black Eyed Peas’ hip-pop pussy poppers from Elephunk and Monkey Business combined with the The E.N.D. onwards electro-era Peas, but not quite as good. If you replaced Nicole Scherzinger’s sexy Z-list swag with Fergie’s fierce A-list swag and released it as a Peas comeback track, people would definitely be jamming if they were drunk enough.

#willpower is still irrelevant though. When that album drops, I’ll be doing the same thing as everybody else: downloading, keeping the Britney track, and deleting the rest.

    God I hate will.I.am. And that hate only rises everytime I have to write that name.
    Nevermind the douchebaggery, the incessant dick riding of Obama he forgot so quickly once he came to power and was shown for the fraud he is or even the further debasing he’s doing to Britney by having her collaborating again (and I use the term the same way one “collaborates” with shit when they use the bathroom).
    No. The first song broadcast from Mars is by him. It was so obvious the song had to be Mars the bringer of war but I get it, modern day people ain’t so down with classical, fine.
    But there’s plenty of other artists out there! And they choose this piece of shit? Yes I mad.

    I actually didn’t mind the production of this song. The lyrics were a bit of a letdown for me, and I think I would have preferred someone that was not Will.i.am to be the vocal. I enjoyed the dancing and it seems like a fun video. I think I’d love the instrumental of this though.
