WATCH: Mariah Carey’s interview with Larry King
Mariah Carey recently sat down with television/radio host Larry King for an in-depth new interview, where she discussed everything including how her voice has changed, her marriage to Nick Cannon, her new album and movie, being a diva, and her abusive relationship with Tommy Mottola.

That was a really good interview, but not as epic as it could have been. Mariah seemed to dodge a few questions, and when she did talk sometimes Larry would cut her off too quickly without delving deeper. She did say some interesting things though and it was a great watch, but I’m still waiting for the day when she completely lets her guard down and let’s it all out.

I wouldn’t want to let my guard down as a celebrity. It’s best to keep it private. As long as she doesn’t become mentally unstable again, she’ll be fine.
^^i agree. Why should she let her guard down? Do we 100% tell our parents/family/friends all? I dont.
And as a star, i would NEVER tell my stuff.
Thats why i understand Beyonce when shes soo controlled and robot-ish bc everything cant be used against u.

I just like it when people let their guard down a bit. I’m not saying she needs to tell us EVERYTHING, but she often hints at stuff and then backs away or changes her mind, like she wants to tell us but she’s unsure.
her interview with barbara walters way back in the butterfly era is still her most personal and honest interview.
