Wanna know where Toyas-World went?
I know a lot of people have been concerned about Toyas-World these past few days, so I thought I’d do a quick post to let you all know happened.
From what I know her domain name failed to auto-renew, and then when the website disappeared some sneaky snake went and bought the name before Toya had a chance to get it back, and now they’re holding onto it and won’t return it.
Toyas-World is probably the biggest urban-pop blog on the net besides Rap-Up, and it was certainly the most popular in terms of comments, often getting more than mega-sites like Perez Hilton. Her blog is definitely my favourite and has been for years now. In fact I wouldn’t even have The Prophet Blog is it wasn’t for Toya.
As you can imagine she’s a little stressed out over losing all her hard work, but she will be back. I dont know when exactly yet, it could be tomorrow it could be a week it could be a month, but she will definitely return at some stage. I’ll definitely let you know when she starts a new site.
You should however follow Toya on Twitter so when things like this do happen you always know what’s going on. @Toyas_World is her address, and while you’re at it follow me to @TheProphetBlog.

Her blog is terrible, from the her biased opinions to the horrible layout and design. The person who snatched the domain is doing everyone a favuor!!!

She would always post something about my girl Ciara & then always say negative things & do unnecessary comparisons to Bee & Ri Ri just to get more traffic.

Really hate all the Rihanna v Beyonce wars on Toya’s site. I’m a Beyonce fan though, just not a crazy one to mention her on every single post.
I switched to here from Toya’s, too. I only checked both to make sure I didn’t miss out on any Cassie news, and now I know you’ll never let me down on that front!

The site was up in October and this just happened so wtf if the site was up in early November and the expires date was October 8th, 2009 and the site was up to mid November something doesn’t make sense.
All in all if it expired on October 8th 2009 and you plan to renew its her own damn fault your supposed to check on it that even if its set to auto renew before the date comes.
I have many domains and have list of them everywhere and know when each is supposed to be renewed as does everybody else in the domain business this is just negligence.

Thanks for letting us know what happened. I was wondering what was going on with the site for the past 2 days. I really liked her site, she didn’t hold her tongue about anything (well except Rihanna lol) and her views were pretty similar to mine about a lot of artists but I definitely didn’t agree with her stanning for Rihanna but I overlooked that lol. That’s a shame she lost all that hard work. I remember the same thing happened to you Prophet and you were able to get your site running smoothly again, and I’m sure she’ll be able to do the same thing too. This may sound a little crazy but I really wouldn’t be surprised if a Bey stan did this to her, we all know how sensitive and overzealous they can be and they always hated on for her opinion about Beyonce to the point in a lot of the comments they were making it seem personal. I’ve seen You Tube accounts hacked into and suddenly deleted all because some people made videos showing Beyonce copying other artists so my random guess of what happened may be not that much a stretch. Anyway good luck to her, I hope she’ll get her site back soon.
meh…i’ve been visiting her site for about a year now..tried to get intouch with her to affiliate or something for a few months via her email & twitter…bitch never replied not once. Even today I twittered her & no reply. So to hell wit her & her site. If she gets it bak up & running fine but things happpen for a reason.

If anyone that has followed Toya for a few years knows that she is a very intelligent and a beautiful being. Usually when she gives her opinion about something, she is dead on right. The only problem Toya has is to many haters! LOL!
