Toni Braxton’s album cover for ‘Pulse’

R&B veteran Toni Braxton has gotten a little Mariah style retouching done for the glamorous artwork to her new album Pulse.

The album, due May 4, will feature collaborations with Robin Thicke, Trey Songz and Usher, and will contain the singles “Make My Heart” and “Yesterday”.

Toni hasn’t exactly set the charts alight lately so I don’t see massive sales for this, but I think it’ll do half-decent in it’s debut week because she has such an established fan base now. Perhaps her upcoming reality show will help the sales out. {source}

    wow she’s breathtaking! i will be buying two copies, one for the shelf and one for the earthquake bag! yes that’s right, i have two to three copies of every cd so i can put some on the shelf of glory and put one in a cd notebook to grab in case of an earthquake or other natural disaster! i also have all my jewelry and photos ready to go! i’m not paranoid or anything!

    i love toni! she is one of the greats! have loved all the leaks so far and even purchased them on iTunes to support her! woop woop!

    She is so talented and could knock you over with a feather gorgeous. BUT! I’m not to crazy about the material I’ve heard so far. …I really liked “Libra” the semi-r&b/pop Dark Child beats really was amazing. The heavy R&B! Ahhh…R&B is so 1999. Sorry but true:) Still love her though…she got my money in Vegas!

    Well all her albums that hardly had promo still went GOLD so she will be okay! Atlantic needs to get their shit right and have on uterviews and talk shows promoting her music tho!

    I like Toni Braxton but I don’t think this album is going to do good. Just simple plain rnb is not gonna sale, this is not 1990 its 2010. That type of stuff is gonna cut it. Im saying she need to do a Lady Gaga esque type of album at all. But she def needs to do very update songs that suite her style and voice. I think with more update music and promotion…she could get at least achieve platinum or double. She does needs the money 2, so I heard. Reality show…really…idk if its gonna b entertaining but I’ll watch anyways.

    Yes, I will be buying. Maybe two? And everyone who says they’re not going to buy, or just be downloading are down right ignorant. SHE’S BACK! Better than ever. Libra was OKAY, but PULSE is better. I’ve pretty much have listened to all the songs on this album already. They’re massive. This is going to be an epic album.
