According to new reports indie pop/rock band The Ting Tings have signed with a new US deal Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label.

Not only that, but Jay is also planning on producing music for the duo.

“Jay is hoping to lend his production skills to some of the new material. Jay can make them one of the biggest British bands in America.”

“The Staccato rhythmic style of The Ting Tings sits well with what he does best, so that was the attraction. Jay can make them one of the biggest British bands in America.”

The group are best know for their irritating hit single “That’s Not My Name”, which topped the UK charts and reached the top forty of the US Hot 100.

I think The Tings Tings are just the poor mans Boomkat, but each to their own. Hopefully they have better luck than the last British band Jay signed The Sugababes. We wouldn’t want any line-up changes in The Tings Tings now would we?
