Let’s get one thing straight though, first, the whole how can she judge/mentor contestants when didn’t “write” on her last album is ludicrous. She has a career worth of input into her work, from production credits, to lyrics, to directing,one album doesn’t change over a decade worth of material.

Second, Britney will be given the Cheryl Cole treatment mark my words. Simon is going to turn Britney into his pet the same way he did Cheryl (he is already obsessed with her). From her hair to her toes she will be given a complete makeover, with extensive media coaching, just like Cheryl was given. Look at interviews with Cheryl BEFORE X Factor, she was a spitfire…cue X Factor, she became this refined fashionista beloved by her country. I have no doubt in my mind, Simon will want to make Britney the same. Designer clothes, flawless makeup, blown out hair, she will be turned into a fashionista overnight.

Will Britney get criticized more than the likes of Paula, Nicole? Maybe…maybe not.

All in all, they won’t hand her $15 Million to have her come on and be completely lifeless, Britney would be completely reworked….the same way as all the women before her. Britney is a $15 Million investment but the show is a $100 Million investment, they will get their money’s worth.

2 – Can we have X Factor judged SOLELY by Simon.

If Britney purely wants to make money .. no ammount of money is worth the torture she’d go through with every word being controlled by her “team”. Poor girl, I just want the best for her.

As far as this whole mess goes, I don’t think it’s going to happen. I doubt Britney would accept the money even if they did offer her the 20 million Jason was trying to get for her. It just doesn’t seem like something she would do,or even be good at doing. Not because she doesn’t have talent (side-eying you, Darkknight415) but because I don’t think she could effectively give constructive criticism…to her criticism is all the same, constructive or no. After all the judgement she’s had to endure at the hands of fans, critics, media, and even those she trusted the most, I just don’t think she’d have it in her to tell a contestant that they weren’t good enough…it’d hit too close to home for her.

Anyways, regardless of what you want to think about her abilities as an artist, I really do think the recording process is where she thrives. That’s what makes her happy, and that’s what she’ll do when she’s ready to come out of her mini-hiatus. To me this rumor is nothing more than one in a million close calls that usually gather some steam while she’s on her break.
