EXCLUSIVE: Teairra Mari back in the studio after pushing album back
R&B singer Teairra Mari isn’t quite At That Point just yet, and has officially pushed back her sophomore album to February 2010.
In the meantime she’s been back in the studio and has recorded five new songs, so expect a brand new track listing once the album hits stores.
Tea-Tea’s latest single “Sponsor” featuring Gucci Mane & Soulja Boy is current out now, and will be officially sent to radio on December 1st. The music video also has a tentative release date of early December, but it may be subject to change.
This album has been pushed back for almost a year now! I’m not too mad though because she’s doing new songs and it sounds like she’s trying to get things perfect. There’s no point in pulling an Amerie now is there?
She just better leave “Operator” on the final track-list because that’s my fave!

awww damn i was really anticipating her album, but i guess nearly all of it has already leaked so she’s doing the right thing, IMO. “Sponsor” is a hot track and i hope it does well. I wonder which songs she’s gonna drop now though? I love ALL the songs that have leaked so far.
I liked Sponsor, but I felt that the Gucci part went too long. I mean you would hardly know it’s her song until ~50 secs in the track.
Oh well, better off and just start a new album since everything has leaked. Her first album was good, she should stick with that.
Proph was SPONSOR sent to radios?? The track reached 6 on Bubblin Under RnB songs….while it was sent to radio or not??

I love this girl. I hate her singles excpet Sponsor and Automatic but her album sounded promising. I love her debut to DEATH and I will wait for her sophmore but it’s getting very fustrating.
I dont know he just said that it was sent to radio dec 1st I assumed it had already been sent since it had kinda charted and it’s been out for ages! ill change it!
I hope that it does well when it drops… I LOVE her voice. It’s sad when an artist who has real talent and who can really sing has such a hard time.
