The fabulous Teairra Mari was a guest on the Mo’Nique show today, and to say that Tea-Tea and the Oscar winning actress got along like a house on fire would be a serious understatement. Watching the interview was like seeing Mama Mo’Nique being reunited with the younger version of herself as the two shot the breeze like two long lost girlfriends who were long-overdue for a good gossip.

After their delightful chat, Tea-Tea strutted her stuff on stage with rapper Soulja Boy to perform her single “Sponsor”, which is lifted from her long-awaited sophomore album At That Point.

I loved the performance but watching Tea-Tea’s down-t0-earth personality shine in the interview was my favorite part.

Now that her hot new single “Sponsor” is getting some airplay my girl Teairra Mari is back doing the promo rounds for her upcoming album At That Point.

During one of her recent interviews with DJ Scream, Tea-Tea discussed her label deal, her new single, her favorite rappers, whether or not she’s dating Bow Wow, and her upcoming movie. She also touched upon some beef that she has with a R&B female whom she refused to name, only giving the clues that it wasn’t Rihanna and that it wasn’t a crossover pop girl.

I have a few names floating around in my head right now but I don’t want to call anybody out. Who do you think she was talking about?

Besides the drama with this mysterious female the most important thing that Tea-Tea said was that her new album ‘At That Point’ would definitely be out this Spring, even acknowledging that it’s been delayed far too much.

When the album finally drops look out for production by Neff-U, Jackpot, Zeke, Rico Love, The Runners and Madd Scientist, and features from Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Flo-Rida and more.

My girl Teairra Mari dropped the video for her new single “Sponsor” featuring Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy today.

The clip looks surprisingly sleek and polished, but it still has that ton hint of trashiness that you’d want from a ghetto gold digging anthem featuring Soulja Boy. There’s also a cute twist at the end in which Tea-Tea touches an Amex Black Card for the first time in her life and reveals that she’s actually her own “Sponsor”.

So far Sponsor is the biggest hit from Tea-Tea’s upcoming sophomore album At That Point, recently reaching a lofty #52 on the R&B/Hip-Hop singles chart. Hopefully the video can get put into heavy rotation on BET and VH1 and then climb to the top of the urban charts where Tea-Tea belongs!

The beautiful Teairra Mari kept things grown ‘n’ sexy today on the set of her new music video for “Sponsor”, which also features rapper Soulja Boy and is lifted from Tea-Tea’s heavily-delayed sophomore album At That Point.

“Sponsor” is looking like it could be the big break that Teairra’s been waiting for after it reached #56 on the R&B charts and looks likely to rise in the near future.

If the video turns out to be even half as hot as these pictures then Tea-Tea may find herself with a big urban hit on her hands. “Sponsor” is the ultimate gold diggers anthem, how could you not like it?

After laying low for a moment my girl Teairra Mari is back on the grind for her upcoming sophomore album At That Point, performing two of the albums cuts, “Automatic” and “Sponsor”, at a recent club show.

“Sponsor, which is now being billed as Tea-Tea’s ‘first’ single, just received it’s official digital release today, and has already reached #71 on the R&B charts which is her highest charting position from At That Point thus far.

The song has already been out for so long now that I had kinda forgotten about it, but now the news of the official release has reminded me how much I love it and I’m back to bumpin’ it regularly again.

The video shoot for “Sponsor” has been pushed back several times, but it’s now finally confirmed to take place on February 6 in Los Angeles. I wonder if Gucci Mane & Soulja Boy will be in it?

944 magazine have put a doily in a pink wig on the cover of their latest issue. Oh wait that’s just Lady GaGa.

Also striking a pose is Jennifer Lopez, who’s on the cover of the latest issue of Latina magazine and also has the cover of the upcoming issue of Elle where she’ll be talking about her new album Love?

Representing the fellas we’ve got my baby daddy Game covering The Source to promote his upcoming album, and 50 Cent flexing for Muscle & Fitness magazine.

Last and probably least are Teyana Taylor and my girl Teairra Mari who look like two angry lesbians on the cover of Kontrol.

It looks like the recent allegations of child molestation against Pleasure P haven’t scared off the Grammy-nominated singers good friend and musical collaborator Teairra Mari, who was snapped with PP at a recent club show at the Conga Room in Hollywood.

Well you know what they say, innocent until proven guilty.

Now back to Tea-Tea, her new single “Sponsor” went to urban radio last week and has gotten about forty adds, and the video is now scheduled to be shot at the beginning of next year. Even though “Sponsor” has been out for a minute now it’s still the jam so I hope it continues to gather steam.

My girl Teairra Mari was snapped celebrating her 22nd birthday in Hollywood at Club Opera this week.

This seem a little quiet on the Tea-Tea front right now, but expect another push of her single “Sponsor” soon, as well as a music video for the song.

She’s still working on her sophomore album At That Point which is tentatively due February, recently scrapping several of the original songs to record five more so expect a lot of new material.

I hope she gets it together soon because Tea-Tea is one of my fave underdogs!

The singers been busy lately flogging her single “I Want to Know What Love Is” and fighting off rumours of outrageous diva demands that have been doing the rounds in the British press.

Mimi’s new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel is currently #58 on the Billboard 200 with sales below 300k, whilst her latest single “H.A.T.E.U.” has risen a few spots on the R&B charts to #87.

Tea-Tea is gearing up to shoot the video for her new single “Sponsor” on December 15. I can’t wait to see it because her “Cause a Scene” video was beyond fierce.

Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon was snapped earlier this week (Nov 20) partying up a storm at the LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas.

They’ve recently been some nasty rumours about the 26-year-old circulating the internet labelling her as a “fuck-for-tracks” kinda gal.

Let’s hope that they aren’t true! She’s too cute for that mess.

Chris Brown was snapped shopping at Foot Action in New York, stopping to take pictures with fans.

The singer is currently in hot water (on the blogs at least) for calling a Jay-Z a “cornball” over Twitter.

Britney Spears was snapped shopping in the mall (David Jones to be exact) in Brisbane, Australia on Monday.

The superstar is currently finishing up her Circus tour, but will head back to Melbourne and Adelaide again for more shows which were added due-to-popular demand.

Brit is so down to earth. She’s one of the biggest singers/celebrities in the world yet she still goes to the mall and Target and everything.

Teairra Mari was snapped out partying last night at the Guys & Dolls nightclub in Hollywood.

The singer just wrapped up her first movie “Lottery Ticket”, and will now return to her music career and new single “Sponsor”, which will be sent to radio on Dec 7 with the video being shot on Dec 15.
