If you’re starting to get sick of seeing Taylor Swift everywhere you look then you can breathe a sigh of relief, because the head of her record label Scott Borchetta has announced that the singer will be taking some time out of the spotlight in a bid to avoid over-exposure.

In fact until the Academy of Country Music Awards in April the only glimpses of Taylor we should be seeing will be her on stage performing on her sold-out Fearless World Tour.

The whole laying low strategy is part of a plan to have Taylor return with a bang for the release of her third album, which once again according to her label is coming along swimmingly.

“She was on an amazing writing spree through December and January, and we were able to go in and cut all those things,” Borchetta says. “If she writes something great between now and July, it will go on the record. She’s been extraordinarily prolific the last six months.” {source}

The album is currently due out at towards the end of the year with the first single scheduled to hit radio in early September.

Let’s hope that Taylor has finally overcome her obsession with fairytales and princesses on this next album.

Unfortunately though for Taylor those big numbers still aren’t enough to topple Ke$ha’s “TiK ToK” which is set to remain at #1 on the Hot 100 for its sixth-consecutive week, meaning that Taylor will have to settle for #2. {source}

When this song first leaked I made a sarcastic remark about how it was going to sell some ridiculous amount of copies in it’s first week, and now it’s actually come true!

We’ve already heard Jewel’s new single from the soundtrack of the mushy new rom-com Valentines Day, and now country-pop princess Taylor Swift has graced us with her own contribution to the soundtrack “Today Was a Fairytale”.

The song follows the exact same formula as all of Taylor’s previous songs with it’s watered-down country production and sickly sweet childish lyrics, which means that it’ll probably sell at least 2 billion downloads in it’s first out.

Speaking of downloads Taylor was just named the top-selling digital artist in music history with 24.3 million digital tracks sold to date. Take that Ke$ha!

BFF alert! R&B/Pop singers JoJo and Jordin Sparks were snapped earlier this week leaving Bardot nightclub in Hollywood. Aren’t these chicks too young to be out at all these clubs?

As for Jordin, well her new single “S.O.S.” has still failed to crack the Hot 100. Remember when wannabe music mogul Perez Piggy Hilton said that Mariah Carey needed a song like “S.O.S.” to save her Memoirs album? LOL.

Mariah’s been busy lately promoting her new album Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, which to date has sold 275k after about a month on the chart. After only one week her the latest single “H.A.T.E.U.” fell from #76 to #100 on the R&B charts, but I don’t think it’s officially been released yet. I don’t think it’ll do anything though.

Also out was Amy Winehouse who was snapped this week heading to the doctors office. The freshly augmented star was seen puffing on a cigarette with her burly bodyguard in tow.

Amy’s been looking so much better lately. She’s such a rock star I love it.

Pop/watered-down-country singer Taylor Swift snapped out this week on a date with that babe from the Twilight movies.

I’m not gonna gush over this boy because I refuse to buy into the Twilight hoopla that is flooding the universe right now, but JESUS MARY & JOSEPH SAMANTHA MUMBA LAWD HAVE MERCY he is so hot!

Pop stars Pink and Kelly Clarkson aren’t the only ones upset with Kanye West after he stormed on the stage during the VMA’s and humiliated country singer Taylor Swift, with some new audio leaking online of President Barack Obama sharing his thoughts on the matter and labelling West a “jackass”. The comments were made off the record and were not supposed to be made public, but there’s so many sneaky snakes in politics and the media that somebody has leaked it. What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like shit. I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you. The best part of this evening is that you weren’t even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??

I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her…so why can’t you be?? I’m not even mad at you for being an asshole…I just pity you because you’re a sad human being.

On a side note, Beyonce has always been a class act and proved again tonight that she still is. Go TEXAS!!

Judging by these photo’s it looks like Kelly has met Kanye on more than one occasion, so it’s possible that she’s seen him be an asshole behind-the-scenes as well. What Kanye did Taylor isn’t a joke like the Lil’ Mama thing, people are actually pissed off and rightly so. His ego has been getting of control and he’s finally went too far. I love Kelly for this, she always keep it real, remember when she laughed at Perez’s assault?

I’m not a fan of Taylor and I just youtubed that video of hers and I think it’s totally lame, but what Kanye did was horrible. She’s only 19-years-old and was obviously so excited to win her first VMA, and Kanye just ruined her moment and embarrassed her. She looked heartbroken, and Rolling Stone just reported that she was seen backstage crying hysterically afterwards.

And what about Beyonce in all this? Everyone knows I’m not her number one fan but she looked almost as humilated as Taylor did. Kanye has the worst personality in the biz! “Single Ladies” wasn’t even an original video anyways, but that’s not the point. He’s a moron and he needs to get off Beyonce’s dick.
