It took a while but La Roux’s single “Bulletproof” is now a huge in the States, and what better way to celebrate that success than by teaming up with Major Lazer (Diplo & Switch) for the hottest mixtape of 2010?

It’s already had well over 200,000 downloads since dropping about 12 hours ago, crashing the websites server in the process.

The 14-track mixtape features collaborations with Gucci Mane, Amanda Blank, Rusko and even Drake. Pretty cool huh?

Diplo & Switch duo Major Lazer have a new E.P. dropping in April, and now we have a little taste of what they’ve been cooking up with the newly leaked song “Sound of Siren”.

The military-meets-dancehall banger features M.I.A. and Jamaican singer Busy Signal, and if it’s anything to go buy the Major Lazer E.P. is going to be one of the early must-haves of 2010.

Also set to appear on the E.P. is rapper Collie Budz, Portuguese party starters Buraka Som Sistema, folk singer Lindi Ortega, and Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke.

Remember a while back when Major Lazer released that zombiefied video for “Keep It Going Louder” featuring Nina Sky and Ricky Blaze?

Well now there’s version 2 of the video that needs to be seen to be believed!

I love how nonchalant Nina Sky are. Do they not realise that they’re partying with Leatherface’s extended family? Best.video.ever.

This is such an awesome video and I’m relieved to finally see Nina Sky doing something. The cartoon effects are crazy, it reminds me of a Zombified version of He-Man. People seem to think that you need millions of dollars to make a hot video, but all you really need is some originality and creativity. My friends brother’s band made THIS for free, it’s not that hard!
