The plastic fantastic Lil’ Kim stepped out recently for a paparazzi infested promotional gig at Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood, where in addition to concocting a special Queen Bee milkshake made out of Banana and Nutella, she also spilled some details on future music plans.

The 34-year-old revealed that she’ll appear as a feature on Dr Dre’s highly-anticipated Detox album, as well as on a Polow Da Don-produced track from Keri Hilson’s upcoming sophomore album.

Kim — who is focusing on releasing just singles for the time being — also spoke about her next album, which she says will have production from Timbaland, Wyclef and Detail.

“I’m working on my album. I’m gonna be dropping some singles soon — I’m not concentrating on dropping an album so soon, but I will be dropping singles… My album’s gonna be crazy.”

It’s been a hell of a long time since we’ve heard an actual official, music video single from the rap legend, so the prospect of a new one is pretty exciting. The new single was scheduled to drop in July, which would make it this month, but in Lil’ Kim time she probably means the year 2014, so we don’t really have an official date of when we’re gonna hear something new. At least she’s keeping busy with some major collaborations (Foxy Brown, you should try it some time).

The plastic fantastic Lil’ Kim was caught on a good day this week, looking the best she has in a long time during a performance at Chicago’s Enclave nightclub.

In addition to touring like a madwoman, Kim is also planning to drop a new single in July. The only problem is, that there won’t be a new album to follow it – at least not yet.

“I’m not really focusing on a new album,” said Kim. “I’m focusing more on singles. I’m dropping a single in July. I’m going to keep dropping singles until I think fans are ready for an album.” [source]

The music industry has changed a lot in recent years, so Kim is probably making a smart move by building buzz and re-establishing herself with some new singles, which will then probably be followed by an album at some stage if the singles do well.

The status of Kim’s record deal is still up in the air at the moment though, with the rapper refusing to confirm rumors that she’s signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.“There are a lot of offers on the table right now. It’s not a done deal,” she said.

Hopefully she makes her mind up soon because I’m gonna hit the roof if she pushes back her new single.

The legendary Lil’ Kim has finally broken her silence for a new tell-all interview with ThisIs50.com, laying everything on the line in one of the most honest interviews she’s done since leaving jail back in 2006.

Kim talks about label problems, her beef with Diddy and Drake, touring, her future plans, jail time, what she’s been doing while she’s out of the spotlight and much more.

And yes, of course Kim address her current beef with Nicki Minaj, fulfilling her previous promise and airing out all the behind-the-scenes drama that she’s been hinting at over the past few weeks.

The Queen Bee claims that Nicki has been taking “subliminal shots” at her for a long time in various interviews and through other outlets, disrespecting her in addition to ripping off her image. Kim then goes deeper into a drama surrounding a track that the pair were meant to do for Baby’s album, which Nicki supposedly had pulled because she didn’t want to be on the same song as Kim, which Kim of course took as a sign of disrespect.

That Lil’ Kim reign on Nicki Minaj just won’t let up, with new footage surfacing today of Kim and her crew going in on Nicki during a discussion about the Young Money femcee on the back of Kim’s tour bus.

Part of Kim’s new circle of friends is femcee Keys, who you may remember from a Nicki Minaj diss video that made it’s rounds over the internet earlier this year. Well Kim and Keys have been pretty tight lately, with Kim even bringing the up & comer on stage during shows for the sole purpose of dissing the Harajuku Barbie.

“I’m a real b*tch,” says Kim. “I love working with my ladies….I did one of the biggest records, the first Ladies Night records. At the end of the day it’s just about respect. You come in the game you just pay homage to those who paved the way for you…When I first came in the game I had Salt-N-Pepa, MC Lyte, I had all of them in my videos. At the end of the day that’s just what it’s about…It’s okay to say I love you. I love your style, you inspired me.” [source]

Kim’s crew then start calling out parodies of Nicki’s hit song “Roger That”, changing the title to “Copy That!” before laughing. Kim also continued on to say that there is more to the story than meets the eye and it will all be revealed soon.

The most interesting part however is when Kim calls out “Roc” towards the end of the video and throws up the Roc sign, adding further weight to the rumors that she’s signed a new deal with Roc Nation. Her new single is tentatively due out next month, so we should find out the truth by then.

In a brand new interview with Philly radio personality Kendra G, the Queen Bee Lil’ Kim called in to set the record straight over her current beef with Nicki Minaj, which as you know has been making some major headlines across the blogesphere this week.

During the chat, Kim says that certain things have happened behind the scenes that “people don’t know about”, before promising that they will “be aired out” soon. Kim also labels Nicki a “swagga jacka” and says that her recent onstage disses during her current promo tour have been to “remind” everybody where Nicki’s style came from.

She then implies that Nicki has dissed her and hints at behind the scenes drama, before further implying that Nicki has no “class” and isn’t a “sophisticated lady”.

On a brighter note, Kim also spoke about her music career, announcing that she’s aiming for July to drop her brand new single. There hasn’t been an update on Kim’s next album for a while now, but the last news to surface had her working with Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Akon and Detail.

The Lil’ Kim Vs. Nicki Minaj beef took another turn today, with Nicki’s BFF Drake defending his Young Money labelmate live on stage in what was clearly a response to Ray J and Kim’s recent attack on Nicki.

If you thought Lil’ Kim’s onstage mocking of Nicki Minaj was where this femcee beef was going to end then you’ve got another thing coming to you. At a recent show in New York (June 3), Kim brought her ex-boyfriend Ray J on stage, most probably to perform their hit “Wait a Minute” together, but instead of performing the pair took some time out to take a few more shots at the Harajuku Barbie.

“I’m seeing a lot of Lil Kim imposters,” Ray J stated. “I’m not saying no names, but you know who,” he continued, referencing biting Kim’s style after calling Kim the greatest female rapper ever.

Lil Kim added, “We love her. We just want her to pay homage so we can all rock together, that’s all” making an obvious reference to Minaj. “It’s all about respect. You respect me, I respect you. If you don’t respect me then f-ck you. ” [Via ONTD]

As you know, this is the second time that Kim has taken shots at Nicki, after recent footage surfaced of Kim imitating Nicki’s flow at a live show before throwing a wig into the crowd and stating “I’m so above this.”

With a new mixtape in the works, an upcoming album (with A-list production from Timbaland, Polow Da Don and more) and a rumored new record deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, could the Queen Bee be trying to drum herself up a little publicity by coming after Hip-Hop’s current covergirl?

Or perhaps Kim is mad that Nicki has publicly paid homage to her nemesis and fellow female rap legend Foxy Brown, even going as far as to strike up a friendship with the rapper, which could seem odd to some since Nicki’s style clearly resembles Kim’s a lot more than it does Foxy’s.

It’s no secret that Lil’ Kim fans and Nicki Minaj fans don’t exactly get along very well; Nicki’s followers generally claim that the Queen Bee is washed up, while Kimmy’s clan accuse the Harujuku Barbie of copying the Queen’s style.

Well things are about to get a whole lot worse now, with a new video surfacing online that appears to show Lil’ Kim taking a stab at the Young Money star. In the clip, Kim can be seen imitating Nicki’s trademark rapping style in a comical way as she performs her classic hit ‘Crush On You’. She then rips off a pink, Nicki-style wig that she has on, throws it into the crowd and says: “I’m going to another level. I love the wigs and everything, but I’m so above this!”

There’s no need for drama ladies, but I’m not about to argue with the Queen Bee who blessed us with the timeless Hip-Hop classic Hardcore.

Well as of right now Kim is officially hot again (in a plastic fantastic kind of way), at least for the time being. I hope her new mixtape and album sound as good as she looks!

We already heard Lil’ Kim rapping about being your “Sex Toy” and your Hannah Montana, but now she wants you to make her “Pussy Purr” on a raunchy new leak from her upcoming mixtape.

The Detail produced track has more of a raw hip-hop sound than the auto-tuned club track “Sex Toy”, and is a little closer to the old Kim that we all know and love. She’s changed her vocal delivery though, and I hate to say it but it sounds like Kimmy is trying to give us Nicki Minaj here.

Last I heard Kim was working on her new album with Timbaland, Akon and Polow Da Don, but now with all the Detail produced tracks emerging and the news of a mixtape in the works I have no idea what the Queen Bee has planned.

The song was produced by and features Detail of Konvict Music, who has been working with Kim on her upcoming album and leaked “Sex Toy” this morning to give fans a taste of what to expect from Kim in 2010.

Over a club ready beat and heavily autotuned vocals Kim raps about her favorite topic – sex. She asserts that she can be your “Sex toy”, “Malibu Barbie” and even your “Hannah Montana”.

Does it sound bad so far? Well, it actually isn’t. “Sex Toy” isn’t rocket science but if all you’re looking for is something to get freaky to in the club than this is your song. I just hope that Kim gives a little more substance on her new album because trashy songs like this are good for a bit of fun here and there, but considering that Kimmy is the woman who created the Hip-Hop classic Hardcore means she’s going to have to start living up to her potential again, and soon because the clock is ticking.

Da baddest bitch Trina, model-turned rapper Lola Monroe, the Queen Bee Lil’ Kim and her BFF Lisa Raye were all snapped yesterday partying in Miami for the Super Bowl.

The foursome started off at the Karu & Y nightclub, before heading off to Diddy’s exclusive Super Bowl party.

Lil’ Kim and Trina were also spotted together last year when Kim through her birthday bash, so these two seem to be getting pretty tight. Could they have a musical collabo in the works perhaps?
