Yesterday the new Skream single, “Copy Cat”, featuring the incomparable Kelis, leaked online in poor radio rip quality. The links have since been pulled and the official audio (well, the official radio rip audio) has been unleashed via Rinse FM’s Youtube account.
Always switching up her style and staying one step ahead of the pack, Kelis has ditched the hard hitting club beats of 2010′s Flesh Tone and dived right into 90s’ garage for her brand new single “Distance”.
Kelis has a new album on the way, and we’ve got some delicious details on the sure-to-be-flawless disc. Due this Autumn (between September-November), the genre-bending diva has worked with Brighton-based producer/remixer BURNS, DJ Tom Neville (fun fact: he topped the Billboard Club chart with his “Milkshake” remix), British alt-dance artist Dan Black, London-based dubstep producer [...]
Here’s a treat for my fellow Kelis stans: an unreleased Flesh Tone track, “Kids”. The slick electropop number was produced by Boyz Noize and penned by Kelis and Jean-Baptiste, and just narrowly missed out on making the final cut for Flesh Tone. Kelis is currently finishing up her next studio album with plans for a [...]

The soon-to-be club smash is laced with addictive arcadey laser synths, which essentially act as the hook while Kelis sings about ditching an ex-boyfriend and hitting the clubs on the verses. Harris’ last single “Awooga” contained a similar retro-meets-futuristic [...]
Kelis just keeps on rolling out the music videos from her Flesh Tone album, today premiering yet another Rankin shot clip for the album’s fourth single “Brave”. Here’s a summary of the video: It’s like Janelle Monae’s “Cold War”, but much less emotional, and far more glamorous. Check it out below.
Kelis’ Flesh Tone hasn’t exactly lit up the charts since its release, but it has become one of the biggest nightclub staples of the year and has turned Kelis into a popular and frequent presence on the touring and festival circuit, which explains why it’s still receiving a healthy dose of promotion five months after its release. [...]
The music video for Kelis’ latest single “Scream” has found it’s way online. The clip unexpectedly premiered on TV, and some Kelis stan was quick enough to whip out their iPhone, hit record, and upload it on Youtube. The Guetta-produced “Scream” is easily the worst song from the Flesh Tone album, but the video ain’t [...]
