In a piece of news that has absolutely RUINED my whole day, John Legend has announced that he’s trying to get the talented, critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse in the studio with actress Beyonce for a duet. You may know Beyonce from a slew of popular television commercials, such as Nintendo, C&A Clothing, Samsung and Crystal Water.

“Usually I’m a fan of their work on some level and I think we could make something great together, and it’s usually just a phone call away and a little bit of scheduling and we usually make it happen,” says Legend, who recently spat the dummy when his hairline started trending on Twitter.

“As long as everyone comes into it with the right attitude, you know, a little bit of humility and a bit of that collaborative spirit, then you usually make something good out of it,” he added.

Five minutes in the studio with Beyonce and Amy will be smoking crack again.

Amy’s highly-anticipated third studio album is due out around January next year.

Singer-songwriter Jazmine Sullivan a.k.a. ‘the girl that was unjustly snubbed at the 2009 Grammy awards’ will release her sophomore album this Summer.

So far attached to the project are Ne-Yo, Los Da Mystro, Ryan Leslie, Salaam Remi and soul singer John Legend.

Billboard recently previewed the album, stating that Jazmine has taken a jab at her fake friends on a song called “Blow”,  and has referenced her breakthrough hit “Bust Ya Windows” on a new Ne-Yo penned track called “You Get on Me Nerves”.

The song I’m most excited about though is a Los Da Mystro production titled “Vanity Six”, which is an ode to Prince and his infamous girl group Vanity 6 with lyrics like “Just play my favorite song, get my ’86 on/Don’t make me wait too long, just play my favorite song/I’ll get my Vanity Six on.”

Jazmines debut Fearless was great, but one look at the lineup for her sophomore album has me pretty confident that she’s going to top it.

Britney Spears was snapped again relaxing in Australia on her days off between concerts of her sold-out Circus tour.

The 27-year-old chilled on a private yacht with her two sons and her manager-boyfriend Jason Trawick, where she ate salad and prepared some healthy snacks for the boys.

She also managed to take some time out to take the boys to catch a screening of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”.

It’s so cute how she’s always with her kids. I think the only reason she even started recording Circus was because she wanted to show the judge she could be responsible to win back custody.

Jennifer Lopez was spotted in Hollywood Boulevard on Friday night leaving rehearsals for her American Music Awards performance.

The diva will be performing her new single “Louboutins”. I can’t wait to hear it!

Whoa, all that booty shaking and hair spinning was putting me into a hypnotic trance. The repetitive beat paired with the visuals made me feel like I was being brainwashed… and I liked it! Hype is a good director and he adds an artistic feel to the video to elevate it from typical rumpshaker clips. Plus my man John Legend is lookin’ fiiiiiiiiine. Love it.
