With a little help from rapper Fabolous, Amerie continues to flog the dead horse that is her latest album In Love & War with the video to her new single “More Than Love”.

You know ya girl Amerie was probably on a budget for this video, but she really made it work and delivered a fantastic clip. It was cinematic, exciting, had a great storyline and the argument in the middle was priceless.

Amerie’s got the talent, the style, the sound and the look… so wake up and go buy the damn album!

Contrary to popular belief Amerie’s In Love & War isn’t quite dead just yet, with new photo’s surfacing online from the set of the albums new single “More Than Love” featuring rapper Fabolous. You can listen to the track above.

What happened to “Pretty Brown” with Trey Songz?

I’m shocked that they’ve given Amerie a new video after the album debuted at #46 on the charts with only 12k sold. I have a feeling that Amerie is funding the majority of these videos herself since she’s signed to her own label Pheenx Rising, which is under Def Jam.

Maybe instead of churning out videos and singles though Def Jam and Amerie could’ve focused on actually promoting the ones they had out? Amerie isn’t Britney Spears, she can’t just throw out a video and have it go number one. She needs promotion.

Anyways regardless of the sales and promotion In Love & War is a fantastic album and I’m glad that it’s getting more videos. It’s just a shame that there probably won’t be anybody around to watch them…

The beautiful & very photogenic Amerie is the latest lady to score a feature in Honey Magazine, where she dishes out some relationship advice, plugs her new album In Love & War, discusses Twitter, and talks about why she moved to Def Jam.

The reason I went to Def Jam was specifically because of the company — their marketing and promotions team. [Source]

I guess Amerie has been deaf and blind living under a rock in Siberia for the past ten years, because if she had any contact with the human race she’d know that the only females that get promoted at Def Jam are Rihanna and Mariah.

Maybe Amerie should have a chat to Electrik Red some time?

Amerie miraculously managed to get some more promotion last night when she was a guest on the Jimmy Kimmel Show to perform her new single “Heard Em’ All”, as well as the album cut “Higher”.

Unfortunately nobody has uploaded “Higher” yet, but if you find it leave it in the comments for me and I’ll update the post because I’m dying to see it.

Another thing, Amerie’s final Billboard numbers came in and let me tell you now that they aren’t pretty. In Love & War managed to debut at #46 with only 12, 421k sold. Keep in mind though that were some severe shipping problems when the album was first released, and it also wasn’t available on iTunes for a while either. SMH.

Things aren’t looking good for Amerie and her new album In Love & War, with HitsDoubleDaily predicting a debut of somewhere around #39 on the Billboard albums charts. So far she’s sold 7,703k with 54.02% of the chart calculated, meaning that she’ll probably end up with somewhere around 15k in total if she’s lucky.

Honestly who didn’t see this one coming? With barely any promotion and a unique style like Amerie’s it was always going to be an uphill battle. Who knows though, maybe her new single “Pretty Brown” will end up being her “Regret” or “Turnin’ Me On”. At least she can say that she never sold out and always stayed true to her sound and style.

Now how long do you think it’ll be until L.A. Reid drops her from Def Jam and she joins the Tea-Tea/C-Milli club? I’ll give it a few weeks! Def Jam was never right for her anyways, and this proves it. They only care about one female artist and it sure as hell isn’t Amerie.

Singer-turned-model Amerie has opened the doors of her designer closet for for Elle in a new photoshoot.

The R&B singer dresses up in a variety of outfits straight from her wardrobe, flaunting everything from Chloé dresses to Gucci shoes, and of course a lot of Alexandra Wang who seems to be her favourite.

She looks beautiful. I think these fashion shoots really suit her because they actually go with her music and her overall swag if that makes sense.

Amerie performed her single “Why R U” on BET’s 106 & Park today as part of the promotion for her new album In Love & War.

Amerie SLAYED! She really made up for that messy “Heard Em All” performance from Wendy Williams. Vocally she was on point, and she really went in with those head spins. She also got the crowd involved and just sung the song with a lot of passion and energy, which is the same feeling I get when I listen to the song on blast at home or on my MP3 player.

I’m actually shocked because I’ve never paid that much attention to her performances before and I never thought that she was much on stage, but she really opened my eyes with this. Amerie needs to do this more often then maybe people would actually go pick up her album.

Diva Jennifer Lopez was snapped the other day (Nov 2) on the set of a new photoshoot for an unknown project. If you look closely you can see that she’s wearing two different shoes. Are they Louboutins? Could this be for her new single?

Speaking of Louboutins, there’s a rough demo by The-Dream & Tricky floating around on Youtube that mentions “Louboutins” on the hook. Maybe it’s the demo of her new single? Probably not but check it out here anyway and let me know what you think.

A bra-less and make-up free Britney Spears was spotted leaving her hotel in Perth, Australia with her entourage. The superstar was off to get ready for the first show of the Australian leg of her Circus tour.

Amerie turned her swag up to a hundred billion trillion for a sexy new shoot in the latest issue of Complex Magazine. The “Why R U” singer also shared her opinions on the differences between men and women, and might I add that she did it in the bluntest and realest way possible.

One of the consequences of cheating is that you only trust somebody as much as you trust yourself. Even the whole line of “wanting space”—they’ve probably already cheated at least once. It’s thinking, “I don’t want to risk losing this person, so instead of being honest, I’ll put them on the side while I get all this stuff out my system.”

Men can’t handle the truth about women—that we can be as noncommittal, manipulative, and promiscuous as they are.

Amerie finally scored some promotion for her new album In Love & War, performing the albums second single “Heard Em All” live on Wendy Williams.

She did a good job, but I’m not a fan of the leg spreads.I’m glad to see her finally out doing some much needed promotion for the album, but sadly I think she’ll be lucky if she can even score a top 10 debut. It’s such a shame to because her album is great.

It was interesting to find out that Wendy was the first DJ to spin Amerie’s first single. I never knew that Wendy had such good taste!
