Adam Lambert performs “Whataya Want from Me” at MMVAs.

Posted in Performances on June 20th, 2010 by The Prophet

Glamor girl Adam Lambert hit up the MMVA’s in Canada today to perform his hit single “Whataya Want from Me”. The song has been a huge hit over there, reached the top three amnd going double Platinum.

Miley Cyrus may be untamable, but Glambert certainly isn’t, dressing up in his fathers suit (minus the drag queen leopard print) and waltzing around the stage for a rather docile performance of his biggest hit. As usual though, the vocals were present and out in full force, making up for Adam’s lack of movement.

Adam Lambert lets loose in “If I Had You” music video.

Posted in Music Videos on June 14th, 2010 by The Prophet

After the huge success of the broody “Whataya Want from Me”, our girl Adam Lambert is ready to unwind and have some fun in the music video for his latest single “If I Had You”.

The video is basically Glambert in the forest having a psychedelic acid trip with all his friends and partying until the sun comes up, but it’s supposed to be a commentary on unity (or something).

“Basically, what it’s saying is no matter what color your skin is, no matter what religion you are, no matter what your sexuality is … we can all party together,” he said. “And all this other stuff — money, success, fortune, fashion, glam — it’s all great, but it doesn’t mean anything if you’re not connecting.”

Drugs will do that to you.

Check out the Glamorous one in all his fierce glory below!

Glambert performs at Kiss108 concert.

Posted in Performances on May 23rd, 2010 by The Prophet

Lady of the night Adam Lambert got his glam on at the recent Kiss108 2010 concert this week, performing a number of tracks from his Gold-certified debut album For You Entertainment for the screaming crowd.

Included in Glammy Bear’s set was his latest single “If I Had You”. It hasn’t charted yet but a pretty fierce looking music video is in the works, so the song may start moving up the charts once that’s out.

Watch Glambert perform “If I Had You” below, and then hit the jump to check out “Strut” and the amazing “Sleepwalker”.

Preview: Adam Lambert struts his stuff on the set of “If I Had You”.

Posted in Candids, Music Videos on May 22nd, 2010 by The Prophet

Our girl Adam Lambert got his Willy Wonka on recently on the set of his official music video shoot for “If I Had You”.

The Max Martin produced track is the third single to be lifted from Glambert’s debut album For Your Entertainment, which has now sold an impressive 640k in the US and has even charted well internationally, reaching the top 10 and 20 in Australia, New Zealand and Sweden.

“The theme of this video is basically is no matter how much money, success or material things that you accrue in life, if you don’t have a connection and love it’s worthless, ” Glambert told Entertainment Tonight.

Adam’s last two video’s were very interesting in their own ways, but this one looks like it’s going to be his best yet. I think as his success continues to grow and his budget expands we’ll get to start seeing Glambert as more of a visual pop artist in a similar fashion to somebody like Lady GaGa.

Check out the preview below, and don’t forget that starting next month you can see Adam on his Glam Nation tour with Orianthi and Allison Iraheta. [source]

Glambert queens out on Ellen with “If I Had You” performance.

Posted in Performances on May 19th, 2010 by The Prophet

Our girl Adam Lambert was a guest on Ellen this week to promote his new single “If I Had You”, the third to be lifted from his hugely-successful Gold-certified album For Your Entertainment.

After sitting down with Ellen for a chat about his career, Glambert took to the stage for a show stopping performance of “If I Had You”. Obviously feeling more comfortable in his skin now as a performer, Adam had his handbag out in full force for the oh-so-glamorous rendition of his new single.

He’s still more masculine than me though.

Glambert debuts “If I Had You” single artwork.

Posted in Photoshoots on May 3rd, 2010 by The Prophet

The oh so glamorous one Adam Lambert released the uber-fabu artwork for his new single “If I Had You” earlier today.

The Max Martin produced track is the third official single from Glamberts successful Gold-certified debut For Your Entertainment, which has just started making a sales impact internationally thanks to the huge success of his hit “Whataya Want From Me”.

“Whataya Want From Me” peaked at #10 last week in the US and has since been certified Platinum for sales of over 1 million copies. It’s also gone top five in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Belgium and Finland, and either top ten or twenty in many other countries.

Let’s hope that “If I Had You” does just as well!

Glambert is doing a little too much for me right now.

Posted in News, Performances on April 21st, 2010 by The Prophet

Everybody’s favorite flamer Adam Lambert certainly got into the spirit of the GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) media awards this week when he gave himself a serious “Fever” during his scheduled performance at the ceremony.

What would we ever do without the Glamorous one? I think I hear VH1 Divas calling his name!

If you like watching Glambert put in some serious WERQ on stage then you can catch him on his upcoming Glam Nation tour, but if you prefer to listen to Adam from the safety of your own home then you can keep an eye out for the video to his next single “If I Had You”, which will be shot next month.

Adam Lambert performs in Australia and releases new song “Voodoo”

Posted in New Music, Performances on March 8th, 2010 by The Prophet

Adam Lambert is in Australia at the moment on a crazy promo tour to promote the international release of his debut album For Your Entertainment, and earlier this week he stopped by Australia’s biggest morning show Sunrise (which is hosted by the two biggest birdbrains in the country, Mel & Kochie) to perform an acoustic version of his single “Whataya Want From Me”.

I was totally going to stalk Adam when he was in Sydney but I was too shy to go see him, even though he was doing a record signing like ten minutes from my house!

Anyways you can catch the glamorous one on TV this week performing on the first episode of the new series of VH1 Unplugged, which you just know will see him rehashing that old “Mad World” performance.

Glammy also has a new song called “Voodoo” that leaked over the weekend and is a bonus track from the international version of For Your Entertainment. It’s a sexy, space age. electro stomper that was co-written by “Black and Gold” singer Sam Sparro, and it’ll be released in the US soon as part of a new remix EP that Adam is releasing.

Check it out below.

Adam Lambert performs “Sleepwalker” on Jay Leno

Posted in Performances, Uncategorized on March 3rd, 2010 by The Prophet

Adam Lambert decided to give his new single “Whataya Want From Me” a rest last night on Jay Leno, instead deciding to perform the Ryan Tedder produced Battlefield “Sleepwalker” from his debut album For Your Entertainment.

This was another one in a long line of fantastic performances for Glambert, proving that his disastrous AMA’s fiasco really was just a one-off mistake.

Another thing that makes his performances so good is that he’s always singing something new instead of rehashing the same old songs all the time. The fact that he’s showcased a lot of material from his album on shows like Oprah and AOL Sessions has probably helped contribute to the strong sales of For Your Entertainment, which has no sold about 550k and been certified Gold.

Glambert’s current single “Whataya Want From Me” is currently climbing the Hot 100, reaching a new peak this week of #28. Next up for the single treatment is the Max Martin produced “If I Had You”.

Adam Lambert thinks Susan Boyle’s music is “horrendous”

Posted in Beef, News on February 23rd, 2010 by The Prophet

Susan Boyle may have sold over 8 million copies of her debut album I Dreamed a Dream and made fans out of everyone from Lady GaGa and 50 Cent to Oprah and Snoop Dogg, but one person who doesn’t love Auntie Susie is American Idol Queen Adam Lambert, who’s debut album also happened to be released on the same day as Susan’s back in November.

“If only it weren’t for Susan Boyle! I’m happy for her success, but that album is terrible,” he told Gay Times.

“‘Wild Horses’ is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!” he said. {source}

LEAVE SUSIE ALONE!

Just for the record my Mum is a die-hard Rolling Stones fan and see’s them live every single time they come to Australia, and she’s been a Stones fan for a hell of a lot longer than Glambert has, and even she likes Susie’s cover just as much (if not more) than the original.

Susan’s album isn’t as bad as Adam is making out and obviously the general public agree since it’s sold over 8 million copies in a time when it’s a big deal just to make Gold or Platinum.

I think Auntie Susie should record a diss track and hit back at all her haters!

Adam Lambert and Kelly Clarkson confirm their next singles

Posted in News on February 21st, 2010 by The Prophet

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has confirmed that the next single from his Gold-certified debut album For Your Entertainment will be the Max Martin produced “If I Had You”.

The song is the follow-up to “Whataya Want From Me” which has so far reached #31 on the Hot 100 and is still rising each week.

Meanwhile after a lot of deliberating the winner of the very first American Idol Kelly Clarkson will release “All I Ever Wanted” as the fourth single from her album of the same name. The song will hit radio in March.

Both songs are great choices and I hope they do well on the charts. You’ve probably already heard “All I Ever Wanted” by now so check out Glambert’s “If I Had You” below instead.

AMAZING! Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta and Glambert perform Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” live in NYC

Posted in Performances on February 13th, 2010 by The Prophet

American Idol season 8 contestants Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert, or “Kradison” as they’re now known, performed a concert at New York City’s Highline Ballroom on Friday night.

The show included individual sets from all three Idols, but fans at the venue were treated to a huge encore when Kris Allen, who was closing the concert, brought out Allison and then Adam to sing a cover of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy”.

During the performance Allisons vocals almost blew the house down, whilst Glambert did his usual on-stage showmanship and Kris rocked out on his guitar. If these three ever start slipping on the charts (well two of them already are) they could form their own band because this performance rocked!
