T-ara hook up with Brave Brothers and more for ‘Day by Day’ mini-album

So, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The bad is that T-ara’s upcoming Day by Day album is just a 5-track EP and not a full-length follow up to their defining debut Absolute First Album, but the good news is that the producers they’ve hooked up with are pure flawlessness.

Day By Day tracklisting

1. DAY BY DAY

2. HOLIDAY

3. HUE

4. 떠나지마 (Don’t Leave)

5. 사랑놀이 (Love Game)

Treading familiar territory for the tracks “Day by Day” and “Don’t Leave”, T-ara have reunited with the team behind their hits “Cry Cry” and “Lies”, Cho Youngsoo, Kim Taewun and Ahn Youngmin, but that’s not even the best part. “Love Game” was produced by the trashtastic Brave Brothers, who we all know from his work with K-Diva Son Dam Bi and Sistar, while “Holiday” and “Hue” were both produced by the flawless team of Kim Kibum and Kang Jiwon, who are behind all of SECRET’s incredible hits, as well as the only good 5dolls song ever made, “Like This or That” and Gangkiz’s latest wig snatcher “MAMA”.

Judging by this information, it’s now official that Day by Day will be FREE OF ALL FLAWS!!!

This has completely cheered me up after the blow of Day by Day not being Absolute Second Album. Plus, it’s not like we’ll be short on T-ara music this year: they’ll be back with another new single “Mirage” in August, and then another one “T-ara’s Effect” in October, before new member Dani joins the group in December, for what could potentially result in even more new music.

Get ready for more of T-ara’s cheap repackage albums and remix versions!

T-ara domination begins July 3rd…

I’m so happy about this. Not sure about Brave Brothers because he can be hit or miss for me but I love the other producers so it’s alright.

O fuck. I saw this earlier and only recognized Brave Brothers and got excited because I like some of their Sistar stuff. Now I’m crying at the perfection of this list of producers. This is album is going to be my life when it is released.

I love how you sometimes have K-Pop news on your site posted before I see it on actual K-Pop websites… God, I love you. xP

Anyways, disappointed by the lack of a full album, but the producers lined up make it sound like it will be a good album! (Then again I remember saying the same thing about ‘Black Eyes’, and I ended up being disappointed by that album, soooo…)

I honestly do think we were probably going to get a second full-length album this year, but I started to wonder about it after hearing that they were coming back so often in the second half of the year. I’m thinking that they decided to break up the full-length into a few EPs, which sounds about right when it comes to CCM lol.

I AM really happy that we’re getting so much new music from Slay-ara, but I really wish they would just go ahead and let the girls release another full-length. I love how magnificent AFA was and want its sequel in my life. One day…

But I am really stoked we’re getting so much new music from the girls. I’m wondering if the Brave Brothers track was the one they were rumored to be working on for the girls last year. This is gonna be a HAWT year for T-ara because I have a feeling we’re gonna see them trying a lot of new concepts and sounds out, and the list of producers they have lined up sounds phenomenal.

And no flaws were not given to this EP! This is starting to be the best mini album of the decade…and it’s not even out yet. Queen Qri better have some flawless intros & her trashtastic signature “T-errra”.

To be honest, I prefer a 5-track EP of pure flawlessness than an album with some great tracks and some fillers (although Absolute First Album is a total masterpiece). I’m ready for T-ara to slay my pitiful life all over again!

    I guess
Cho Youngsoo, Kim Taewun, Ahn Youngmin and Shinsadong Tiger are all big Britney fans, because DBD was clearly inspired by Criminal, and Bubble Pop was clearly inspired by How I Roll.
