T-ara to make comeback of the century with “Sexy Love”

With their netizen-fabricated bullying scandal still burning strong, T-ara have decided to stop hiding and face the haters with the release of their ’7st’ mini-album Mirage on September 3rd.

The EP, a repackaged edition of Day by Day, will contain all the tracks from Day by Day, as well as two flawless new songs; lead single “Sexy Love”, an electropop song produced by Shinsadong Tiger (“Roly Poly”, “Bo Peep Bo Peep”), and ballad “Day and Night”, produced by Cho Young Soo (“Day by Day”, “Cry Cry”).

Are y’all ready to be slayed, destroyed, and annihilated by the most flaw-free comeback since The Emancipation of Mimi?

Following the spotty success of “Day by Day” and T-ara’s almost career-ending scandal, it looks like they’re playing it safe for this comeback. “Sexy Love” sounds like another trademark T-ara hook song in the same vein as “Lovey-Dovey” and “Roly Poly”, and the Mirage‘s 1960s comic book artwork recalls the retro look of John Travolta Wannabe.

It’ll definitely be interesting to see how Mirage and “Sexy Love” play out on the charts. Dumb-fuck netizens are still believing bullying rumors, despite all the bullying ‘evidence’ being disproved and both T-ara and Hwayoung stating that no bullying ever took place, and SBS recently sacked Eunjung from her k-drama Five Fingers. Perhaps the thing needed to win people back over to Team T-ara is another one of the group’s shamelessly addictive hits and eye-catching concepts.

Hopefully the hatin’ ass netizens won’t be able to resist the power of “Sexy Love” and T-ara’s highly-hyped new robot dance!

Check out a stunning teaser for the non-drama version (thank god) of “Sexy Love” below.

I’m hella sure that ALL EYES are on them when they make their comeback performance… can’t wait :D

Rumors true or not… they make epic music and that’s what’s T-Ara’s all about, crazy addictive catchy music and not intrigues.

KBS no sacked Eun Jung. It was SBS.

I can’t help to still like them, I mean their ‘absolute first album’ is still on my phone and not leaving it…

  • matttm7

  • Robin

They will slay everyone 4sure xd

  • regina_filange

not digging the dance- looks weaker then some of the shitty street performers out here. and i feel like i saw this set before, and the costumes, and the song isn’t anything new… but is all good. wasn’t planning to support them anyway, since i don’t like the way the companies business is run.

  • Rotaryknight

damn shame they kicked hwa out. KKS is a maniac.

  • tjoz

The start reminds me of Jolin Tsai’s Honey Trap.

T-ara just need a clean start. Getting back to music and just concentrating on that should be good for them.

LOL @ 7st, not even my broken engrish. Honestly I’m glad they’re moving on and doing what they do best. Loving cross-eyed Areum and Qri offering Japanese fapping material

  • a_chan

Good luck to them~ really, idc about the bullying scandal anymore. Things have gone too far with the unlawful termination of contract and such. I’ll probably like the ballad more than the title track but oh wells

  • norimix1

Is it just me but all their songs are indistinguishable from another..

  • FreakyFlyBri

It’s just you. If you don’t choose to look beyond their title tracks I can (somewhat) understand why you may reach that conclusion but their non-promoted material is pretty diverse in sound. Barring that I still don’t see how someone could mistake Cry Cry or Day By Day for Lovey-Dovey or TTL. *Kanye shrug*

  • FreakyFlyBri

So far things are off to a good start for this promotion cycle, at least internationally. People are really responding positively to the song and it sounds like the majority of the complaints have less to do with bullying and more to do with the weird dance and the song’s repetitiveness (pretty common complaints for a T-ara song/video, in other words). I can’t speak for Korean fans but since the most they can come up with to bitch about lately is whether or not T-ara actually did write their own apology letter, I’m guessing that things are winding down over there.

Sexy Love sounds so much better than I thought it would, and I’m loving that they actually decided to release a teaser for the shorter MV first. I still need the stunning conclusion to the DBD drama video but I can’t deny that I’m slayed by the sexy doll concept, and those circus-style outfits…oh my feels.

@facebook-100002169160218:disqus sums it up best when he says that T-ara always offers something a little bit different from the norm. They take a concept that’s been done before (in this case, dolls/mannequins coming to life) and they take it somewhere new. Yeah, SNSD did it already with Gee, but they concentrated on keeping it cute and bubbly. T-ara seems to be channeling the creepy/unnatural vibe of a doll coming to life while playing up the obvious sexual aspects of the concept, and I’m loving it. I’m trying to enjoy it while I can since once Dani joins we probably won’t get many more of these types of concepts…

  • bitchola

It’s just you. Listen to their albums.

  • bitchola

Slaying everything in their path. Bow.

  • MrsTOP

I also think all their tracks sound the same.

This left me completely speechless. In a good way! :P
The song sounds positively catchy and classic T-ara, I know Im gonna rape the replay button once it leaks.
As for the video… goddammit it looks like perfection LOL the outfits and the concept are slaying me beyond belief!
And as for the T-ara scandal thing. Look I’m not going to say they did or they did not bully. You will probably never know for a fact, and especially considering all the ridiculous over the top netizens’ useless posts AND endless CCM statements, it just added more fog to the issue than clearing it up. So yeah, I just won’t care about it, cause its pointless, and just enjoy T-ara for what they are.
Plus, people need to grow up and get over those fucking rumors and at least support their catchy as hell music. I get it, people are upset and disappointed, thats fair enough. But honestly you cant deny the catchiness of their songs, so please look forward to this fucking smash! <333

I KNOW RIGHT! LMFAO I feel the same about Dani. She will def make T-ara worse, Im sure of that. **crosses fingers they postpone her joining to 2020***

  • Khann

T-ara songs are the best and have different pleasures.U have to feel with heart not with ur nonsense ears

  • Orihime

    still awesome, and officially flaw-free

  • bitchola

I really love that second pic because it reminds me of the test tube pics that Girls Aloud did for the Biology single cover.
