Sugababes have no plans for new music

Didn’t I tell y’all last month that Sony had washed their hands of the Sugababes 4.0 and that nobody wanted anything to do with them?

In a new interview to promote her stint on the UK’s Dancing on Ice, Sugababe Heidi Range has confirmed that the trio currently have no plans for a new album, and are just doing their own thing — but they haven’t split.

When asked about the Sugababes new music, Heidi responded: “We’re not concentrating on it. I’m concentrating on this. We haven’t got anything planned at the moment.”

What I think Heidi really means by that is that nobody will touch the ‘babes with a ten foot pole, but they don’t want the bad publicity that will come with splitting, so they’re just waiting it out and doing their own thing in the hopes that the group will catch a break in the future.

    Even though i like the girls as people i think they should just let it go now tbh, the only ones that should use that name are Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan or Mutya, Keisha and Heidi… But sadly i think the plan is for Heidi to do dancing on ice and then when everybody remembers how sweet she is they’ll have a label sign them again, watch… i bet i’m right.

    Personally I don’t dislike them as a group I just find them using the ‘Sugababes’ name and back catalogue distasteful! No one is going to accept them, it is really time for Jade to go back to having a killer solo career!
