Steven Tyler comes clean in Dateline tell-all interview

A brutally honest Steven Tyler laid it all on the line last night for his tell-all interview with Matt Laurer on NBC’s Dateline. The goofy Aerosmith frontman is currently promoting his new autobiography ”Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?: A Rock ‘n’ Roll Memoir”, which made for some pretty revealing questions.
Tyler talked about his druggie past, his relationship with his daughters, his feud with Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, his wild years as a rockstar back in the day, and some of the backlash he received for doing Idol.
The interview only lasted for around fifteen minutes, leaving the viewer with enough questions to want to go out and buy Tyler’s book, but it still provided a nice clean overview of the rocker’s fascinating life.
One of the shining moments was when Tyler confidently proclaimed that, “This band is gonna do the best album it ever did”, when talking about Aerosmith’s forthcoming comeback album. The ‘tour’ word was also thrown around, giving fans hope that perhaps Aerosmith will known out another smash and hit the road for a world trek.
All I know is that I’m definitely buying this book when it hits Australian stores. It’ll be the best autobiography since Pamela Anderson’s ‘Star’!
