Some big R&B diva comebacks on the way…

Are you gagging for a dose of urban diva goodness? I’m totally not, because lately I’m just listening to rock music, T-ara, and Carly Rae Jepson, but if you’re still feenin’ for an R&B fix, then you’re in luck, because a bunch of flop songstresses are headed your way.
First up is Kelly Rowland, who will drop a new single called “Ice” some time tomorrow. The song was produced by used-to-be-popular hitmaker Sean Garrett and features Lil’ Wayne, which is giving me some “Motivation” 2.0 realness. That’s not a bad thing, because “Motivation” slays.
Next is my former fave Alicia Keys, who I stopped stanning for after she collaborated with Beyonce because she was terrified The Element of Freedom would flop, and then named her son Egypt, which was really annoying coming from her. She’s got a new album dropping later this month, and today she premiered a new Swizz Beatz‘s produced song from the project called “New Day” (listen here). Some people are calling it tired old Swizzy shit, but I’ve been poppin’ my junk to it, so it’s a winner in my book.
Last but not least is my fave Keyshia Cole, who I will always stan for. After her last album tanked, Kween Key-Key is returning to reality TV to plug her next masterpiece Woman to Woman, which will be led by the Lil’ Wayne-assisted single “Enough of No Love”, due to hit iTunes on July 10th. I’m guessing that Key-Key will be serving up ratchet heartbroken realness with this comeback, because everybody except me hated her last album for being too positive.
I’m here for Keyshia, and approaching K-Row and AK with cautious optimism. You?
