Shakira covers Rolling Stone magazine
The super sexy Shakira can be seen gracing the November issue of Rolling Stone, making it her fourth cover with the magazine.
Inside Shaki talks about her album She Wolf being pushed back, and why she added the Lil’ Wayne featured “Give It Up To Me” to the record. I’d love to know the juice on that situation but it’s not available until the actual magazine is.
Shakira looks gorgeous on the cover, but I think she should’ve sexed it up a lot more since that’s basically the image she’s been using for the She Wolf era. I also think that adding that Timbaland produced “Give It Up To Me” song to She Wolf really cheapens the album because it feels so tacked on, and it’s basically the exact same song as “Give It To Me” by Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, and JT.

I have to agree with you about the Timbaland/Weezy feature. It seems like she did it as an assured way to get on the radio/Hot100. That’s not her style – and even though she’s always been an ever-changing artist, I’m not feeling the mix. I like the song, mostly because it’s catchy… and cuz I bust a nut at any Timbo song… but I don’t like it for her.
OTHERWISE – she looks SMOKIN on the cover as usual. And She Wolf is one of the better albums of the year. I hope she gets a BUNCH of hits from it.

proph, wouldnt hurt to look up her back catalogue. I know u hate her earlier songs but its mostly cause she did them in english. remember, shes been workin since the mid 90s!!
I know that! I only hate the song because it’s generic timbo trash that sounds like it dropped in 2007.

Why is she on the cover and her album didn’t do anything globally? what is she relevant for this time? I dn’t get why she is on the cover for the 4th time- what is she doing that is groundbreaking or deserves our attention…next! Her album will flop here.

She looks stunning as usual… I was came in on the butt end of a Spanish talk show critiquing this mag cover compared to an old one..Wonder what that was about?? Did she get any surgery??..It said scandal with the two photos of her and then went to commercial…IDK.
