Shady Queen of Pop Madonna finally throws Lady GaGa under the bus

With her new film W.E. opening in the States this month, Madonna has been hitting the promo trail hard. Reporters should be quizzing Madge about her movie –and they are–but there’s one big pretentious Italian elephant in the room (that isn’t Madonna) that’s got to be taken care of first — Lady GaGa!

Other than that shady deny of the fake e-mail GaGa invented after getting called out for copying “Express Yourself”, Madge has been fairly quiet on the subject of the rookie songstress stealing her swag, until now.

When asked by Newsweek what she thinks of “Born This Way”, Legendarydonna replied: “I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song (‘Express Yourself’). I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was…interesting.”

GaGa — yo’ was snatched!

That’s not the only shade she’s thrown GaGa’s way, either. During an interview with Graham Norton, Madge had this to say about her imitator.

“When I first saw her I was really impressed by her and she was cool. She did remind me of me back in the day.“

Take note of the past tense used, capped off with the ‘that wannabe copied me!‘ kiss-off.

Madonna is currently prepping the release of her next studio album M.D.N.A. The album is due out in March, with the first single set to premiere with a live performance at the Superbowl, followed by a radio release two days later on February 7th.

    I think Madonna is just trying to start shit…she waits a whole year to talk about “Born This Way” yet was kissing Gaga’s ass earlier and even appeared on “SNL” with her, way to stab someone in the back Madonna.  Madonna has ripped off countless acts Kylie Minogue, Cyndi Lauper, Jody Watley (with the whole “Vogue” and avant garde videos) and others, she is the last one that needs to be talking about someone stealing ideas, personas, etc.  She is notorious for being messy with other big female artists like Whitney, Mariah, Janet who I think she fears is more talented than her in some ways…Madge needs to have a seat and she is not aging well in the face at all.

    You need to figure out how you feel and stick with it. A few comments down you’re going on about how you like GaGa when she was starting out but you disliked the Born This Way era because it’s a ripoff of Madonna. Now you’re bashing Madonna and throwing unnecessary shade. Bipolar much?

    Stop being so wishy-washy and take a seat until you know exactly how you feel about the situation. No need to contradict yourself, plus it’s just obnoxious.

    I dont get how you think Gaga has replaced MADONNA when Gaga’s supposedly “hit” btw album sold 5m and Madonna’s “flop” hard candy sold 4m??? If an irrelevant bitch is selling just 1m less than your faves hit you need to sit.

    Anyway, it’s about time Madonna speaks on this. Honestly, she should have spoken way earlier, like from Alejandro, where the video was a hot mess of Madonna MV images. She should have nip the bud early on.

    Let’s see how long this Caca will stay on, or she’ll end up like the Cindy Lauper of the ’10s – or maybe the Mandy Moore/Jessica Simpson of the ’10s, wahahahahaha
