Sean Kingston writing for Ciara and Ke$ha writing for Rihanna
A few interesting things popped up on the web today, hinting at the direction that both Ciara and Rihanna may be heading in for the next albums. During a new interview with the Jamaica Star singer-songwriter Sean Kingston spilled some possible details about working with the two stars.
On the Caribbean side, he also hopes to work with Bajan singer Rihanna. Also on the plate for the star is writing for other artistes including the hit, Watcha Say, for Jason Derulo. He will also be heading into the studio soon to work with Ciara, among other artistes.
Kingston isn’t the only one hollerin’ about a possible Rihanna collabo either, with newcomer Ke$ha revealing in a new interview that she’s just penned a song for the Bajan beauty.
“I just wrote a song for Rihanna,” Ke$ha told BRAVO WebTV. While she didn’t divulge details, she did say that she “hopes” it will appear on RiRi’s next project.
To me all these RiRi whispers indicate that she’s investigating possible material for the inevitable Rated R re-release, but at the same time I wouldn’t put it past her to drop a new studio album by the years end if her next single “Rude Boy” fails to light up the charts.
As for Ciara it’s already common knowledge that she’s working on fourth studio album. In the beginning it was set to be produced entirely by The-Dream & Tricky, but Darkchild since mentioned that he was working with the singer, and now we can possibly add Sean Kingston to the list to.

i think this title is misleading. kesha isnt working with rihanna, she just wrote a song and is hoping rihanna’s camp buys it.
. im actually looking forward to the cici album, shes working with alot of people who are currently “it”. hopefully she stays away from pop ugh.

Would it be whack if I said I’d love Ciara put out a song or two with RedOne again? I mean I just remember how awesome she was in Enrique’s “Takin’ Back My Love” and I’m just curious to hear what would come out. lol
Sean Kingston is kinda wack as an artist (his vocals and presentation suck ) BUT he is a really talented song writer. He has writing credits for Whatcha Say and Replay. Two of the biggest hits of 09. He’s like Akon. Nobody admits to liking him but his songs stay on the radio lol
Ciara is keeping very quiet about this album so it’s hard to tell what direction she’s going in but I’m excited to hear it.

marymag nobody really cares. Rihanna is always gonna sell, but she can’t perform & can barely sing (pleasantly). Most people that are said to hate on Rihanna are only really stating fact. The girls is one of the less talented women out about now, when there are girls like Amerie doing all sorts of stuff in there career’a w/ a hand & a pin/pen in every part of there career, there is nothing to hate on a Rihanna. Just felt the need to say that, to separate the difference between haters, and people w/ a difference of opinion about Rihanna.

Ciara’s STILL trying? She better do things right and bring back a really hot crunk/dance-pop sound. If she doesn’t do that, she’s not going to budge from her current status.
I don’t see how Ke$ha’s sound will fit in with Rated R but then again, there really isn’t a cohesive sound on Rated R. Maybe she’ll bring back the fun Dance pop that I was hoping for.

I bet Rihanna will go for a more pop sound! I’m super excited to hear Ciara’s new stuff too. I’m glad she’s not only using Dream and Tricky.

I was addressing the comments most people were saying about RR being a flop/ not selling. Obviously, by the fact that i said her album is certified platinum. If i said Rihanna is one of the most talented chicks in the game, I could see where your post is coming from. Its in fact irrelevant and has nothig to do with what i posted, which was numbers. When was the last Ciara post? lol I can’t even remember. Are you the same stan who gets mad when I call her C-error? Don’t YOU ever get tired of telling me off? Anyway, i appreciate Ciara for some of her songs but I haven’t been a fan since Goodies.

actually sean K said he was working with rihanna last year..before her album dropped..either he lied or his shit did not make the cut and he is still hoping to…i would do for the later..i think rihanna’s team just grab anything and everything they can trying to find something for her..i dnt know how many artists that have said they have written for her or did something for her..i have lost count…
anyways regarding the mill..fact is her album has already peaked and a 1 mill for someone who have a beatdown with the world at her feet is nothing to rejoice about hence she is going back into the studio..even just to break it down further, half if her sales is america alone..i thought she was HUGE internationally as her fans call it..sasha fierce, BEP and so many are whopping her ass..such a shame reallyy…

Can’t wait 4 Ciara’s Project i know shes about to Re-Claim her thrown this year and have a grammy under her belt 4 2011!!! but the album is already FINISH and Tricky and The-Dream produce and co-wrote the whole thing so Sean kingston? Really? No he will NOT be on this album.
