In this day and time in music when her or any artist can move 3 million
in album sells world wide and then have a few bangers of some hit singles then you are doing just great. Of course it would be great to sell more but many artist can do good to move 3 million albums and then a few singles that sells equally as well. Whe you look at the fact that Rihanna is the biggest Digital seller in the Us ever , that is as big as
it can get. No matter how some might say this or that Rihanna has proven that she have got staying power and many don’t like it but it is what it is. Billboard named her the #2 artist behind adele last year, and trust that was big because adele sold more then many has shown in over a decade in the last year, and good for her.

I love Rihanna’s Energy and her down to earth attitude about life and her career. She is often knocked for her get up and go attitude, but no matter what nobody can say that she is lazy, and affraid of work.

Napster may have came out the same year as britney but it’s usage wasn’t even a fraction as common place as illegal downloading is today/has been since post 2003.

There is no way to compare the sales of britney’s peak to any artist that debuted after ’05 or so.
if you want to compare, try comparing britney’s sales post “In the Zone” to Rihanna/whatever ‘current’ artist. that would be far closer to accurate.

LOL. Diamonds will slays Your Body in the 1st hour of it’s release when it debuts at #1. Have you seen the chart position for Your Body today on Itunes today? It dropped hard. Rihanna does not have that problem with her first singles, people buy them, like a lot. Hahahaha.
