Rejoice! Kylie Minogue is working on her next album

If you thought Kylie had ditched her career as a dance-pop superstar to retire early and release compilations of orchestral covers, then you thought wrong. In a new interview to promote her Abbey Road Sessions record, the Aussie icon confirmed that she’s been working on her next album since January, and that she’s hoping to “embrace [her] inner Ibiza” on it.

Anyone who follows the Minogue sisters knows that Ibiza is totally Dannii’s thing, so it’s sweet of Dannii to let her sister snatch her signature style now that she’s abandoned her title as the Queen of the Clubs to focus on running the world’s most successful fashion line.

Even though Kween Kylie has been a little hit and lately (“Timebomb” was a major miss and y’all know it), a new studio album is always welcome. Who can forget Kylie working with Calvin Harris on both X and Aphrodite, years before the DJ-turned-hitmaker hooked up with Rihanna and became the new David Guetta?

Cheryl Cole could most certainly never.

She might one of the best soloist I ever like since I was in high middle school. Her best song for me is I CAN’T GET YOU OUR OF MY HEAD was my all time fave song.

Queen Kylie! This woman can do no wrong. After seeing her Aphrodite tour (one of the best pop shows ever created) I have nothing but love for her. Her Abby Road Sessions album is really beautiful, and I’m not normally one for slow, ballad, orchestral versions of songs

    Heck yeah!!

She Can’t be wasting Years. Before you know it, everyone is going to start calling her names like they do with Madonna. Kylie the one and Only Dance/Electro Pop Goddess, needs to be putting records out like Rihanna. I would never get bored of her, This full year has been for the fans only, timebomb was an amazing surprise and not a Miss at all since it was what she intended it to be, a Surprise for her true fans. With 12 million Views on Youtube and hardly any promotion, I think she did really well. The truth is that as much as I have unconditional love for her, and because I’m a hardcore fan, I’m kinda tired of the hits. I really need new Now!

Best news Ive heard in weeks. I missed out on seeing her on the Aphrodite tour (I still to this day want to slit my wrists for being unable to attend). So I need a new album and tour.

In my arms, have bee Kylie’s most sucessful sonng in years in México, I remember it was like 2 months in the low positions of the Top 100 chart, but after a remix with a mexican singer it re-entered in the chart and reach the top 10 at 7, it ended up as the 2nd most played foreign song just behind a Madonna’s. <3

Kylie is the absolute Queen of Pop, she has been successful for three decades and the other one… what’s her name?

  • SerferTJ

Dannii…to focus on running the world’s most successful fashion line.”
    - WTF??? Dannii (along with Solange) WISHES she ran House of Dereon!!!!!!!!!

Naw, but I like how Kylie can keep coming back each era, and remain relevant without embarrassing herself. And she’s still making good music! (I listened to “Timebomb” this morning and it was still great. You need to deal)

  • SUPER MAINSTREAM BEAT

why would anyone call her names like madonna when she has consistently owned up to whatever position the public puts her in????? i think the second part of your comment conflicts with the first part, i don’t think Kylie will ever be a tryhard she just flows with her super mainstream beat

  • gee!sus

C’mon like everyone in the word respects pop singers. And you know they already called her out for the way she dresses. I agree Kylie is always been ahead of her times never really tries to fit in. And my comment is not conflicted because I am a fan not a delusional stan. She has a bunch of “Hits” Albums. I’m just saying personally I don’t care for the Abbey Road. U like GOod fur You!
