Ratchet Ramblings: The Best Comments of the Week

I’ve decided to start doing a weekly round-up of the week’s best comments, because I can.
TheSaturdaysFan proved that they were a poorly disguised troll sent here to take the piss out of the struggling girl group when they wrote: ”They are actually far from basic… they tried pop, dance pop, synth pop, euro pop, trance, rock, pop rock and some stuff other UK girl groups havent tried.”
In my post about the most boring K-pop debut of the year, Nikki wrote: “I can’t take this article or its opinions seriously for the simple face that it’s very clear the writer has a strong dislike for YG Entertainment. While I do agree her debut was very boring and she could have used a little bit more training and she definitely needs more spunk, this entire article was off putting and makes me believe whether she was good or not, the writer still wouldn’t have had a good thing to say.” In other words, Nikki completely agreed with every word of my post, but rendered my opinion meaningless because I like Girls’ Generation more than 2NE1.
Luke defended No Doubt’s “Looking Hot” music video after the group were forced to pull it for allegedly being culturally insensitive to Native Americans. He wrote: “I think it’s dumb, people should concentrate on fighting REAL racism when people are actually being discriminated against… I’m sure there are thousands of Native Americans that have much bigger problems than Gwen Stefani in a tipi.”
FASCINATING was the one person to disagree with Crystal Castles’s harsh words for Katy Perry without bringing up the electronic duo’s record sales, writing: ”Everything about Crystal Castles has always been boring to me. Their “influence and reach” quota just serves to show how uneducated people are about chiptunes and noise culture. The only reason this band is relevant to anyone is because at one point Alice Glass was the Lana del Rey of 2006 hipsters. It’s ironic that she talks about sexualization of female acts when the sole reason for her success comes from that as well.”
And lastly, Lucas Oliveira Dantas defended my small jab at 2NE1′s fashion by writing: “i love when the proph diss on 2NE1 because i know the blackjacks will go mental. i love 2NE1 i seldom resist to their music and charisma [for instance, i really tried to hate "i love you" but my gorgeous worked out ass thanks its magic on the gym's treadmill]; but to say they’re THE BEST k-pop group in the whole wide world? NAH!”
I demand visual receipts in regards to Lucas’ “gorgeous worked out ass” or it didn’t happen.
