RaNia set to return with new mini-album

RaNia, otherwise known as K-Pop’s raunchiest divas, are finally making a comeback.
The group’s official Daum fan cafe confirmed that the girls will soon return with their first mini-album. Although an official release date is still TBA, RaNia will be performing their new single for the first time on Inkigayo on September 2, so the album should be out sometime around then.
The sexy pop song “Killer” that RaNia performed at the 2012 Dream Concert a couple of months back will not be their new Korean single, but it will be included as a track on their album. To make things even more interesting, the Daum announcement claims that “Killer” will serve as RaNia’s first US single, but no date or other details were given regarding that.
As if things couldn’t get any juicer, it’s rumored that RaNia have worked on their new album with American hitmakers N8 Walton (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston) and Adonis (Ciara, Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber), as well as some of YG Entertainment’s producers. The rumor stems from RaNia’s Thai fanclub, who said that they received the news diectly from RaNia’s agency, DR Music. Don’t treat it as fact just yet, but it is plausible. After all, RaNia have already worked with Teddy Riley before, and Mr JYP himself produced a single for Nine Muses, so it’s hardly outside the realm of possibility.
Regardless of who they’ve worked with, a RaNia comeback is always something to look forward to. Let’s hope that they finally score a hit this time!
