[Preview] Girls’ Generation – Cheap Creeper

BoA‘s American film debut Cobu 3D has been languishing in post-production hell for well over a year now. As if it wasn’t hard enough knowing that there’s a movie out there starring the world’s hottest oppa Yunho that we’re unable to watch, anticipation for the flick just increased tenfold with news that Girls’ Generation have a new English-language track called “Cheap Creeper” featured on the official soundtrack.
A portion of the catchy electropop tune was recorded by a sneaky SONE at the recent KCON USA convention, and as expected from all things Girls’ Generation related, “Cheap Creeper” is 110% free of all flaws.
It’s one of the sassiest things that the girls have ever done, with the Divine Nine blasting a poor scrub with an endless string of quote-worthy barbs.
“You only wear cologne that comes in the sample size!” quips Tiffany. “You’re actin’ like a Justin Timberlake when all you are is just a fake guy livin’ witcha mommy!” adds Sunny.
Yes! SNSD better stan for JT!

According to IMDB, Cobu 3D isn’t coming out until July of next year — and that’s only in Netherlands, Norway, and Denmark — so we’ve got a long wait ahead of us until “Cheap Creeper” is available in all of its full and complete glory.
Until then, we’ll just have to enjoy the snippet and get geared up for the Divine Nine’s new Japanese album. Who knows, maybe if we pray hard enough to the K-pop gods, “Cheap Creeper” will make it on there as a bonus cut.
