Pop Icon Paris Hilton Returns with “Drunk Text” – is the new Adele
Now that Adele has stomped the charts and snatched every award imaginable, it’s good to see more REAL music continuing to shine with the release of Paris Hilton‘s new anthem “Drunk Text”.
Nah, I’m kidding, but the fact that Paris Hilton’s musique is flawless, iconic, and defining is no laughing matter. The lazy eyed legend’s debut album was thoroughly amazing from top to bottom, and any pop fan who denies it is either biased towards talentless celebutards, or 110% full of fucking shit.
Before the Kween returns to slay us all with her new Afrojack/’LMAFO’ produced sophomore album later this year, she’s testing the waters by lending her heavenly vocals to “Drunk Text”, the new single from rising Canadian DJ duo Manufactured Superstars.
Paris carries the torch that Whitney Houston left on this educational club banger, lazily slurring about the dangers and ramifications of drunk texting over a monotonous-but-addictive house beat.
The thing I like the most about “Drunk Text” –other than the hilarious lyrics that are supposed to be completely tongue-in-cheek but are entirely accurate of Paris Hilton’s real life– is that it actually sounds like actual dance music. This is what you hear at 5am when you’re coming down in the club and everybody’s sweated off last night’s makeup. This ain’t no Usher, Nicki Minaj “Starships” ish!
Bitches are going to be getting down to this in club across the world, totally unaware that they’re dancing along to the world’s most hated woman.
