Perfume Announce Futuristic New Single, So Nothing Else Matters Until It’s Out

It’s only been a few months, but it feels like ten phucking years since Perfume released a new single. I know that we got the epic “Fake It” in September, but that was technically just a B-side with a video, so it doesn’t count. Thankfully, the techno-pop trio are finally set to stop torturing us early next year when they return with their next official single, “Mirai no Museum“, which translates to “Museum of the Future”.
It’s a fitting title for the KWEENS, as they are forever 3008, while your fave remains 2000-and-late.
The new single serves as the official theme song for the new Doraemon movie, and was written especially for the film. According to a press release, “Museum of the Future” will express the fantastic world of Doraemon, and contain a clear melody. I’m not really sure what they mean by that, but it sounds flawless.
To celebrate the futuristic return of the LEGENDS, let’s all watch this futuristic performance of “Triangle” — aka THE BEST PHUCKING THING EVER!
What kind of flawlessness?! :O :’(
