Nicki Minaj to re-release ‘Roman Reloaded’ this November

Adult film actress and occasional singer Nicki Minaj is apparently set to re-release her garish sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded this November.

According to HitsDoubleDaily, the most unnecessary release since Katy Perry’s MTV Unplugged will hit stores on November 21st — right in time for the holiday spending season.

What are they gonna call it? Roman Re-Reloaded? And what are they gonna put on it? The album already has 22 songs.

To date, Roman Reloaded‘s sales have been poor compared to that of the original Pink Friday, but with about 650k sold in the U.S. so far, the numbers are still respectable for today’s climate. Latest single “Pound The Alarm” is now starting to pick up, most recently hitting the top twenty on the Hot 100, but it looks like Team Nicki have little faith in Roman Reloaded to churn out any more hits once “Pound the Alarm” runs its course.

Are you excited for Nicki’s ratchet 60-track re-release?

That picture of Nicki sure sheds light on the “adult film actress” claim, haha. Roman Reloaded feels like it came out a day ago and has spawned only two decent singles that I know about (which I’ll admit, are decent. Well, popularity wise).

Get ready for “I Am Sasha Fierce 2.0″, it’s so shitty that they gonna re-release as much as it needs.

Why Nicki to re-release the album? I’m waiting for her to released Va Va Voom and Champion first…

  • http://www.facebook.com/JamesFluker James Alexander Fluker

    Fuck, she’s awful.

  • SerferTJ

OH GOD NO!!! It’s going to be so shitty. Can we just get AZ Bank’s or Iggy’s album instead??
The only way I would be okay with this is if she started doing more alternative rap like “Massive Attack”, cuz the original has enough damn pop/dance and lame-hip-hop tracks as it is.

And I better not see this trick on American Idol. Idk how people could even entertain the thought of HER judging any kind of talent competition.

    needs. to. go.

in other completed unrelated news… Proph, super interested in hearing your thoughts on Dark Side and why it crash and burned at #42 after being led in by such a massive single… I’m calling it the “We Found Love syndrome” (when WFL was still too big by the time ‘You Da One’ (and everything TTT) else got released to radio that no one cared to add it to their pop/dance rotations). I lose sleep over these things… :p

  • Trish

this is strange, considering she has plenty of hits left on the album

Va Va Voom, Young Forever, Whip It are even better than the singles she already has released.

But I’m definitely not complaining. Nicki stays slaying while your faves release irrelevant videos for non-charting mixtape flops……..

I assume your talkin about Kelly’s ‘Dark Side’? While it’s a great concert track, it’s not nearly as exciting at radio as ‘Stronger’ was

Ew. Barf. Eagerly awaits Missy’s return

  • Joey

Why is it that an album this FAT gets a re-release in under a year of release and yet I have to wait till JANUARY for Azealia’s album to drop? In what universe is this necessary or bankable, it’s just blatant money grabbing since she stuffed so much on there in the first place, she needs to make that money back is all.
The only re-release worth checking out this year is Lana’s BTD Paradise Edition next month, other than that, Nicki needs to take a fucking seat and put out a mixtape instead. Thirsty bitch!

  • justemry

Fucking Christ. I am certainly not here for Top 40′s Frankenstein monster and her kindergarten classroom of ADHD personalities putting out another floppy disk of Pink Friday: Now! That’s What I Call Roman’s Jizz Rag. I’ma twerk to “Fuck Up The Fun” now. Bye.

  • John

She shouldn’t re-release it, I mean the tracks Va va Voom, Whip it and automatic are great! Why aren’t those tracks becoming singles? What a stupid move.

It’s been so long since I’ve heard Lana. I need a new music from her!!! :D

  • GeorgeS

Katy Perry’s ‘MTV Unplugged’ wasn’t unnecessary! How could you possibly say that, as a fan of any sort of music? It was a huge step in the right direction. She showed off her beautiful voice and pretty impressive guitar skills, as well as an actual ability to appeal to an audience (something she’s yet to since). Throw Nicki all you want, but I won’t hear a word against that EP!

  • GawJuss

Gurl bye! Nobody’s gon believe this shit!

  • numba1boyd

I was eagerly awaiting that when her Behind The Music came out but now I’m pretty sure that the wait is just gonna be endless…

  • Naomi

Why would she want to re-release it? The album isn’t that good to be quite honest. The only re-release that I’m looking forward to his Lana Del Rey’s BTD Paradise Edition, and plus I haven’t bought the album yet.

  • shamelesskclarkstan

Completely agree – had zero expectations for it to match what was the biggest selling single of her career; but songs like P!nk’s “Perfect” or K Perry’s “Wide Awake,” aren’t necessarily exciting either… and from a message point of view Dark Side is equivalent to Perfect so I don’t think it’s the content? thnx for reply

  • shamelesskclarkstan

    oh, GeorgeS. bless yo heart.

  • Popblock

Her entire career has lost focus.. she has no idea how to market herself. Like adding another 5+ songs to an already overly full album is going to really help anything in the long run. After this era she needs to go away for a while and figure out what she wants.. because this part time pop-star/rapper thing is only turning away her fans.

I don’t support a re-release of this at all. However, “Whip It” is going to be a great single.

  • YMCMB

of course her label is gonna milk that cash cow named nicki. she is at the peak of her popularity and her stupid fans will buy anything anyway.

  • http://twitter.com/paddlepopandrew byoing~byoing.

oh gurl, you know Nicki had been trying since 2004? How long has Azealia been in the game? When did Nicki get one CD with a major label? Like 4 years afterwards? Was she even with YMCM then? I don’t know. I don’t want to you know – start something, but you Nicki fans need to do your research before you start bad mouthing other rappers.

  • http://www.twitter.com/themusicprophet The Music Prophet

Well the new single was premiered live recently … So there’s hope!

  • http://www.twitter.com/themusicprophet The Music Prophet

It’s not the content at all… It’s just that Kelly don’t really promote the single at all… With the exception of a few mild performances … Plus the music video wasn’t too exciting

  • theprophetblog

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • http://twitter.com/nickynacker nick

I don’t understand re-releasing when there are several other songs on the album that have hit potential. Whip It, Automatic, Va Va Voom, Come On A Cone??? And like you said, there’s already 22 songs. Overkill

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Trevor-Szuba-Schneider/100000290157462 Trevor Szuba-Schneider

“Re-Reloaded” HA! and more than 22 songs! its so funny cause its so true. she’s a singles artist, rereleasing albums aint gonna do shit for her.

  • BritneyLover

“Are you excited for Nicki’s ratchet 60-track re-release?”

HAHAHAAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!! I cannot with Roman Reloaded Era, the album is a total mixed garbage, the singles are horrible (save for “Beez in The Trap”)…I think their team is still hoping to churn out another “Superbass” with “Va Va Voom” (well as reductive as it is)

  • Bluebird

Very grateful that I resorted to illegal downloading instead.
This is one of many reasons why people do it.
