NEW MUSIC! Lady GaGa – Dance In The Dark

[Download Link]

Lady GaGa has just released a new promotional single “Dance In The Dark” to iTunes to promote her upcoming The Fame Monster album.

The dance diva has finally taken a break from RedOne and let Fernando Garibay produce “Dance In The Dark”, though you can barely tell with GaGa choosing to keep the same electro uptempo sound as all her other songs.

One thing that does help set this apart from her other songs is the strong 80′s influences, which appear in everything from the synths and keys to the vocals and lyrics and the songs overall cheesy appeal.

It’s still underwhelming though, and sounds like yet another disposable dance tune to add to the pile. The only song from The Fame Monster that I’ve liked so far is “Alejandro”, which had a lot of charm with it’s tongue-in-cheek accent and catchy chorus.

I like this. It definitely has an 80′s feel, which I love. Gaga belongs in the 80′s tho. She would have dominated that era.

  2. MURDER ALL YA FAVES Says:

yeah but she stepped her game up. come on… the songs are hot and pop brilliance! at least she left behind her wannabe-david-bowie-tracks like “beautiful dirty rich”, “again and again” and “brown eyes”. LUV YA PROPH! U ROCK!

  3. The Prophet Says:

    Haha thanks.

I dunno this just sounds like a typical queen anthem to me. Nothing special.

  9. Phil Says:

    I like it.

  10. Andy Says:

I dont like this song. I put it off halfway. The beat kinda reminds me of the Amnesia remix.
I look forward to her Bad Romance video, cause Francis Lauwrence always makes good video’s

  11. TMM09 Says:

Imma gaga stan but this is a little underwelming :) . Hope it will sound better with my sound on full

  12. Dre Says:

hmm, at first i kinda didn’t like it, but after a few listens, it gets better and sounds good! i’m feeling this track!

  13. Robier Says:

    EH its ok

  14. TMM09 Says:

It still shits all over the new rihanna material we got !

  15. Andres Says:

sounds great, not better than alejandro, but better than bad romance, this use a sample of a old song that I don’t remember the name…please if someone know tell me.

  16. Andres Says:

of course that “shits all over rihanna material” cuz is a mother-fucking-dance-catchy-beat (taking from marilyn manson song JAJAJA) that everyone wats, if the people were more open mind about something different they will love rihanna material.

  17. The Prophet Says:

    Rihanna’s music isnt different lol.

    Thats her problem.

  18. Tyler Says:

Andres, please, Rihanna’s new material is not different. It’s sounds just like everything else out there, only it sucks.

This song is alright. Slightly epic the way she names Sylvia Plath, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Benet Ramsey and Princess Diana, who all died tragically… It makes me wonder what this song is REALLY about. And I hope she doesn’t end up like them.

  19. Jaycee Says:

I like this song but I dont love it yet(maybe after a couple more listens). I like “Alejandro” way better. This song has a very Depeche Mode sound for me and I love that a lot! Popjustice gave this song the highest rating on the album. I hope this isnt the best song on the album then that would be very dissapointing. The lyrics could have been better on this track its a little vague. Im excited to hear “Speachless” & “Telephone”. I hope Britney’s version of “Telephone” leaks :) not excited to hear Beyonce on the album

  20. The Prophet Says:

Popjustice are a bunch of frauds with ZERO taste.

They take money to write good reviews.

  21. Carrie17x Says:

this is ok, not all that.

  23. DEVON Says:

The intro reminds me of something Jeffree Star would do. I feel like GaGa is the toned down, less intensified Jeffree Star idk why but that’s what she reminds me of.

Anyway, the song is good. Much much better than Bad Romance. i really like Alejandro but I think I like this more only because I don’t hear anything remotely close to Redone lol. I’m sick of his horns and whatever else he uses. It’s good to see her switch it up. This song deserves to do much better than Bad Romance.

  24. Andy Says:

Rihanna’s new material isn’t different, but “Russian Roulette” still shits on these new gaga songs along with “Hard”

Bad Romance is much better than this. I dont like Alejandro, cause it’s too similar to Madonna’s La Isla Bonita, which is a much better song.

  25. AJ HBIC Says:

Russian Roulette shits on Gaga’s new stuff? Bitch, are you serious? Get your ears check. Russian Roulette is a snore fest and Rihanna doesn’t have a voice to carry a song like that. She sounds like a dying cat.

  26. Andy Says:

maybe you should get your ears check, people can have different opinion. Rihanna clearly proved that she can carry a song like that, but like i said people can have different opinions. I dont like Rihanna’s songs, except for some on the GGGB album and Russian Roulette. That the music isnt different doesnt mean it’s bad. The Fame Monster is Gaga’s second album and so far she hasnt changed her sound either and her songs sound exactly the same as the ones on The Fame, only worse.

so go bitch somewhere else if you dont like someones opinion, but keep it polite!

  27. Lollie Says:

I love this song, i’ve had it on repeat since yesterday cos no other song can measure up. We need more powerful female anthems to remind girls that jiggling your goodies in a 50 cent video doesn’t make you a strong independant woman! GaGa is an inspiration :D

  28. Rawr Says:

To me, “alejandro” sounded more like “dont turn around” by ace of base =)
