[New Music] Calvin Harris ft. Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing

Calvin Harris and Florence Welch are fast becoming the new David Guetta and Sia. After the Scottish DJ-turned-hitmaker helped Flo bag her first No. 1 single with his remix of “Spectrum”, the pair have teamed up once again, this time with Florence lending her vocals to Calvin’s brand new single “Sweet Nothing”.

The song was premiered on BBC Radio 1 only a few hours ago, and it already sounds like a dynamite mega-smash that’s set to blow at any second.

Harris has freshened up his sound from the two instrumentals that we’re used to hearing him repeatedly recycle, whipping up a skittery club beat that’s gonna have you racing to the dance floor and turning up the radio dial.

Florence, of course, sounds spectacular, but when doesn’t she?

“Sweet Nothing” is amazing on every level. “She Wolf” just got some serious competition.

Get into it below.

To many stupid bells and whistles in song which is horrid and dated, therefore SIA David Guetta win, but Florence’s vocals shine of course!!!

Sia vs. Florence? damn too fucking hard, both songs slayed *get a cigarrete and smokes* but I think I gotta give this time for Florence just because she actually work on some lyrics for the song, while Sia repeats same lines in fabulous and amazing way but you know I wish it have more. And I kind of guessing here but..when DJ’s electro-house-top40-normallyshitty work with people that are outside the top 40 those people get the best from them, whille they give the crap to the rest.

I love it! It actually sounds fresh and intriguing despite the fact that it’s a dance-pop track.

Flawless!!! This could end up as another good generic europop but Kween Flo saved it! Her voice elevated this song up to the next level.
