Bukkaki Knowles will release her live CD/DVD next week titled I Am… Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas, and she’s just leaked the official live acoustic version of “Sweet Dreams” to drum up some more interest in the project.

I have to give Beyonce props for this one because I think she’s outdone herself and topped the original edit of “Sweet Dreams”. In fact it’s probably the best song I’ve heard from her since she released her debut album in 2003. The vocals are absolutely flawless and the arrangement is beautiful. I really don’t think that it’s a stretch to rate her as one of the top vocalists of today’s generation.

I had absolutely zero interest in her live CD before, but now that I’ve heard this I might actually download the whole thing when it leaks.

    Thought it was Bukkake? It’s Japanese i think so it would be with an e. Anyway, didn’t think much of this song even though I enjoy most of Beyonce’s songs.

    Boy, you had me hyped and thinking this shit was epic. Her voice is nice, but I don’t consider her as one of the top vocalists. She is technically trained well, but I don’t care about that in a live performance. I need to hear soul in a live performance and she seems too worried about hitting all the right notes instead of singing her heart out. Good try Bey at being considered a vocalist, though. Bey is pretty much Britney, but with a better voice. Their dance songs are all people really care about.

    Well look at you Prophet! A full blog about Beyonce and it actually stayed postitive the whole way down with out you diving into her father and Camel Joe and how evil she is, im proud of you! LOL!

    This song is great bc like you said, it out does the original Sweet Dreams! I HATED “Sweet Dreams” when it came out! But it has some really meaningful and touching lyrics, which is why it sounds sooooo much better aucoustic! We finally agree!

    This is really beautiful! She sounds ALOT better when she’s not screaming. It reminds me of Dangerously in Love and that is my favorite song of hers.

    Oh NO!!! Proph!! When I saw Bukkaki I laughed hard as ever, but I thought MAYBE it meant something else in Aussie Slang…I’m so glad I was wrong! That’s why you are my favorite :D LOL *tears*….
    The acoustic is better but that is NOT necessarily a good thing.
