[New Music] A$AP Rocky Feat. Lana Del Rey – “Ridin”

Remember back in April when we were all gagging over that snippet of the Lana Del Rey / A$AP Rocky track “Ridin”? Now the full version has officially dropped, timed to tie-in with the Rocky’s role in Del Rey’s “National Anthem” music video, but there’s been a minor change. Originally scheduled to be a single from indie Hip-Hop duo The KickDrums, “Ridin” was pushed back after guest rapper Rocky liked it so much that he decided to keep it for his own album instead.

You can’t blame him, either. An old-school hipster-hop beat featuring woozy rapping from the hottest new pop diva of 2012 — if it’s not a hit, it’s at least destined to be one of the most blogged about and tumbled tracks of the year.

As a bonus, you can also check out Lana & Rocky’s “National Anthem” music video below. I didn’t post it before because I think it’s corny and there’s nothing I hate more than bad voice overs, plus, I wasn’t really in the mood to shit on my girl Lana at 2am when I was tired and not feeling very bloggy.

    LOVE this track! seriously this has to SMASH! L-U-V it

    and i think the music video is amazing! well it is kinda pretentious, but lbr lana is the type to do this kind of thing so i ain’t mad at all. more power to her, and i think people will eat this up.

    love the video for National Anthem and I don’t like the song that much, but the video is pretty epic and shot really beutifully and show some real background story and emotion, I really like it.
