[Music Video] Pink – Blow Me (One Last Kiss)

Pink. Gurrrl. HONEY.

When you’ve got a song as bland and predictable as “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)”, why would you release a boring black & white music video for it that doesn’t get exciting until the final 60 seconds?

I just can’t with this era.

Attention spans are low these days. Second single better be good, or I’m done.

“boring black & white music video for it that doesn’t get exciting until the final 60 seconds”

This perfectly sums up the MV. Also I hate the way the backgrounds are bright and blurry throughout.

omg i can’t even with this video i could make a better one with my £99 samsung camera

  • Ishmael

You guys are haters. The song is slaying the charts. And the video is fresh and not the same old. You can never please everyone I guess.

looks like a Lana Del Rey video

  • Honey

“Oh, honey” is right. Look, I think we’d all accept a black and white video — especially if said video includes steampunk elements (see flying bicycle at the end). However, the quality of this video is incomprehensibly bad; the quality is barely watchable — it looks like a leaked music video — and the storyline is equally questionable. All in all, I’m unimpressed and embarrassed for her. There are flops, and then there’s this.

  • Popblock

I agree, at least it’s not the same old video. Though it looks like it would be the 5th single from the campaign not a lead. I’ll wait for the album to hold my final judgement about this era.

Harsh critics on here! I am in love with this video! Sooo unique, sooo unexpected … Sooo good! Get it gurl!!!!!!

  • Greg M

So she decided to go with 50′s pin-up a la Marilyn Monroe for this era? I could not stand this song at first, but it came on the radio yesterday and now I’m starting to like it (fuck my ears). Either way, the album better be much better than this!

As for the video, I actually liked it. Sans the very beginning where she started to strip and the whole screen went white (watching a blank sheet of paper was never enjoyable so idk what she was thinking with that). At the end of the day, she’s just another corporate creation so at least she didn’t release Starships….

But the song is not fresh and is same old. Too bad

  • Bleahim

I agree with you Proph, however I had similiar feelings about stupid girls and so what, but the rest of the both albums impressed me, so I’m hoping for the same with this one… :)

  • theprophetblog

    LMAO sing it sister!

despite the online masses who are knockin’ the track, i actually think the song is strong enough to still thrive despite the dull video =)

…hell, i never even watched the video for “fuckin perfect” but still bought it along with all the new songs on her “Greatest…”

  • Britney Lover

    Uh.. so bored now TBH…

  • lordmir

the song was very predictable but i think is a grower. And actually, i love this video, fun and not predictable!!

  • simonseziam

Proph, boo, speak for yourself. My attention span is not short – I can give someone with Pink’s level of talent ALLLLL the time she wants. I think the boredom comes from the fact it doesn’t differ much from the lead singles of her last two albums (and the greatest hits), but you know she’ll serve it with the album tracks and tour. Give it time.

  • Rob

    I actually love this video.

  • tristan schack

i like it! i just got really confused with the whole story line when she started dancing with a chick… like.. .wtf. and i thought this was going to be less of a “pity me” song, and more of a “bad-ass i’ma fuck you up” kinda song… weird.

  • Zach

I was completely surprised by the video. Something I didn’t expect at all. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not.

  • KC

I actually love this song. And the video is unexpected. In short, Pink is perfect.

LOL I dunno… the video isn’t all that but it made me like the song a bit more, having said that it’s probably not something I’m gonna go and play often… she needs to come hard, so tired of her rehashing the same shit again and again.
Next single or I’m done too, Xtina will be laughing at this rate.

  • Ish

Pink has established a sound. I agree that it’s not the freshest song, but sometimes thats not a bad thing. We saw what happened when Xtina tried to try something new – regardless if it was new for her and been there, done that for another artist. Bionic didn’t sell for shit. Music is at a point where its hard to be innovative because the public wants the same re-hashed euro dance song with a dubstep break. I think its nice that Pink is not jumping on that bandwagon. This is the artist she is and the great thing about it is that you don’t have to support her. And you can have the opinion to express about your disdain for her music. But at the end of the day, I would rather have an artist I appreciate be true to themselves and do the music they love because I know there are going to do it awesomely. Honestly, people want Pink to do all of these things because she has the voice to do it, but I wouldn’t put out an R&B album if that genre is NOT selling. Her albums are always solid and always have a nice enough variety on them to please variety. Lets also remember she works for a record label that wants to ensure they are going to make money. Buy the album cause you know you want to. Stop hating cause it’s not nice. And have a great day because everyone deserves to :)

    “Pink. Gurrrl. HONEY.” LOL

The mv had potential but ultimately went nowhere. The sexy, bad ass Pink should have appeared a lot sooner than the last minute.

Oh and Dave Meyers: lay off the goddamn bloom effect, bro! Ma eyes…MA EYES!!!

  • katiemck

I love the black and white. And the sudden splashes of colour :D

  • P!nk Lover

I personally love this video, and the song is amazing. Her vocals are incredibly. And everyone hating on this song and the video, I have 5 words for you: You couldn’t do any better.
