[Music Video] Peaches – BURST!

Peaches has come a long way since slaying us all with her homemade hits like “Fuck The Pain Away” and “Kick It”. The underground icon has teamed up with Boys Noize (and XXXchange) for her new single “BURST!” — an awesomely skeezy slice of pounding electrodance that’s the perfect soundtrack for a disgusting night on the tiles.

Boys Noize is really becoming one to watch on the electropop scene, producing some seriously top quality tunes for the likes of Kelis, Black Eyed Peas, and K-poppers BIGBANG, as well as contributing to Kreayshawn’s underrated debut, Somethin’ Bout Kreay.

“BURST!” was released at the start of the month as a big fat EP containing the single and a tonne of remixes. The music video premiered today, which shows a grimy Peaches running around like an insane woman and looking she hasn’t showered in years. It’s really not much different to how I imagine Peaches’ day to day life. The clip actually gives me some serious The Texas Chainsaw Massacre final chase scene realness, with Peaches as the traumatized Marilyn Burns, and a bunch of goth hipster club slags in the place of Leatherface and his lovely family.

Check it out below.

I’m still in love with Peaches and I feel glad Boys Noize didn’t fade her style and rather flattered it.
