[Music Video] Florence + the Machine – “Spectrum”

Florence + the Machine have unleashed the David LaChapelle-directed visual for their pop-friendly new single “Spectrum”.

Like most of LaChapelle’s work, it’s garishly extravagant and fabulous. With all the backup dancers and structured sets, it almost resembled an SM Entertainment music video done by a bunch of art school students, and I mean that as a compliment!

By the way, did anybody notice the peen on the dancer at 0:42? It totally took my attention away from Flo’s choppy wig.

Check out flawless ethereal Kween Flo below.

David LaChapelle comeback to directing?! OMFG MY BODY IS READY!!! this was amazing the only shitty thing is that I already heard Gaga fans pressed that Florence work the set of Gaga photoshoot with David (the city part) but she slay every wig out there and David too, so all your faves better hold on to their wigs cause this is one of the best music videos of the year

I dont get what he means by “ it almost resembled an SM Entertainment music video done by a bunch of art school students”

Sorry… this video is visually stunning but is just missing something for me, It feels more like  a live performance than a music video tbh.
I do love Florence’s wig and costumes though and the song slays.

I agree, it looks kind of unfinished, I don’t know, I like the concept though

It’s beautiful, but the teaser made it seem like it would be much better than it turned out. It definitely looks like a really elaborate live performance.
