[Music Video] Azealia Banks – Van Vogue

Azealia Banks, also known as the hottest thing in hip-hop right now, serves up style and sex-appeal with a side of class in the dark and watery visual for her song “Van Vogue”.

This full-blown ’90s concept that Banks has been rocking lately is working for her like vintage vamp does for Lana Del Rey. She’s continuing to give me everything I need, and I can’t get enough.

She even apologized to Kween Kreayshawn!

Proceed below for sophistication and talent. Otherwise, click here to catch gonorrhea.

At first I hated A Banks for beefing with other ppl all the times and not so stylish (a bit ugly to me). I was stanning for Iggy Azalea, though I didnt know what I was stanning to lol. (Iggy is really gorgeous!!)
However, when 212 got into my ears and you Proph posted her Liquorice video, damn, I changed my mind. I completely lost my interest in Iggy Azalea, because somewhat she is boring, except for her Beat Down song. Now, the more A Banks is beefing, the more I like her lol
I cant wait miss A Banks’ new album!!

god this song is fuckin terrible. it sounds like some weak ass 90′s gayclub drag queen dance track, but not even a full version of such a song, more like a 30 second clip on repeat for 3 minutes.

i wanted to see the hype in her, i’ve listened to her shit with an open mind N it just falters. cool that some people are enjoying her, but i just don’t see it…

i guess she’s just someone for the “i’m beyond Nicki Minaj and mainstream hip-pop” crowd.

…i can’t wait til a few months/years from now when you all trash her like yall trashed, but once praised, gaga. LoL

I also think she is over-hyped, but I love this song. It’s the best on her EP along with 212.

It’s a grower though. I think you just listened to it once and decided to hate it. Her other song Liquorice is awful though, imo, and 1991 isn’t great either.

Or, you know, it could just be that people genuinely like her. As someone who grew up listening to the likes of Trina, Lil’ Kim and Biggie, I enjoy how she combines that old school hip-hop feel with 90s r&b and modern electro house, while still paying attention to melodies and hooks. I also personally appreciate that she’s unfiltered and doesn’t have any qualms in expressing herself.

Just because you don’t like her and her music, doesn’t make those of us who do “temperamental sheep.” I have a friend who genuinely enjoys Joanna Newsom, meanwhile I think she’s an overrated hipster cunt, but do I act condescending towards him for his taste in music? No, I don’t.
