Monica snags T-Pain and Ester Dean for her two new singles!
Just like Sasha Fierce and many others before her, R&B veteran Monica is set to drop two new singles instead of one.
The first is a ballad penned by Ester Dean titled “Here I Am”, and the second is an up-tempo number featuring T-Pain called “Nothing Like”.
“This was the best way to satisfy my fans of 15 yrs, and the new fans that I hope to gain.” said Monica on her decision to release the two songs.
Both tracks will appear on the singers upcoming album Still Standing, which drops January 12 and will feature production from Missy Elliot, Jermaine Dupri, B-Cox and many others.
I’ve been so obsessed with Monica these past few weeks so this news couldn’t have come at a better time. She’s a legend and I’m sure that these new songs will slay.
Make sure you keep an eye out for her new BET reality show Still Standing which premieres tonight in the States.

@prophet: You may want to check that date, i thought that I heard that the album was moved to jan 12th 2010- even amazon is using the new date. If true that is a busted move as sales are lower in jan.
