Miley Cyrus “I’ve never heard a Jay-Z song!”
In a new interview teen sensation Miley Cyrus has admitted that she’s never heard a Jay-Z song, even though she references the rapper in her chart topping hit “Party In The U.S.A.”.
I didn’t write the song. I have no idea, I just picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line. I didn’t write it and it’s not something thta I expected to be popular.
I’ve never heard a Jay-Z song. I don’t listen to pop music, and [that song] isn’t even my style of music. I’m just really blessed for it to have done as well as it has.
A lot of people hate on Miley, and personally I’m not a huge fan, but I have nothing against her. I think she’s talented and I don’t find her to be slutty or anything.
It’s hilarious though that she admitted that she just recorded “Party In The U.S.A.” for her clothing line. I actually admire her honesty because most people front about their music, but Miley was just straight up and didn’t give a damn. She should’ve changed the lyrics to an artist she did know though because it’s stupid to reference somebody you’ve never listened to.
This reminds me of when Britney Spears was crazy and Ryan Seacrest asked her who’s idea it was to say “It’s Britney Bitch” and Britney was just like “Yeah the producer told me to do it” and then walked off and left Sam Lufti and Alli Sims to handle the rest of the call!

I think she loses major points as an “artist” for this. she records a song she didn’t even think was going to be any good. it sad pple will eat cheesy songs like this up , when pple with wayy more talent (i.e Amerie) can’t catch a break .

I mean, that should be encouraging to all the pathetic parents out there who chew her out for being a “bad role model”. I’m apathetic when it comes to Miley. I don’t like her, but if she produces a good song then I’ll listen to it. I don’t think Miley is a bad influence in the slightest. I can’t wait till these parents have their daughters go through high school and see if they are as innocent as Miley is at this age. Those parents are in for a rude awakening. This actually made me like miley because she didn’t get wrapped up in the whole fake Disney thing and say: “it was an honor to record this song and talk about Jay, he is such a passionate artist!” or some BS.
Whoever thought Miley as an actual artist was dumb from the get-go. I love her more for this, I appreciate the honesty.
