Miley Cyrus performs “Who Owns My Heart” on Wetten Dass.

Miley Cyrus was in Germany yesterday as part of her mini-European promo tour ahead of the MTV EMAs to promote her underrated album ‘Can’t Be Tamed’. Unfortunately, Milegend wasn’t their to perform her raptastic hip-hop anthem “Liberty Walk”, but instead to plug her other stunning smash “Who Owns My Heart”, delivering the single’s first ever international televised performance.

Poor Milegend doesn’t really get her much-deserved props as a great pop performer,  but she didn’t let the world’s ignorance slash hating stop her from knocking out a glamorous rendition of “Who Owns My Heart” that would make Kylie proud. Dressed in a loose-fitting white mini-dress and surrounded by billowing white smoke, Miley worked the stage like a pro, singing live and backed by a team of entertaining backup dancers. She even joined in on the choreography by letting the dancers repeatedly lift her up in the air and rock her from side to side.

For anybody who wants to hate on Milegend Christus in the comments, take note of these lyrics from “Liberty Walk”: Don’t listen to all the people who hate, cause all they do is help make your mistakes for ya, but they don’t own ya, I just told ya!

    Ever since you posted the video for this song, I have been OBSESSED. I think “Who Owns My Heart” is now one of my favourite songs of the year. I absolutely love it!!

    PS. does anyone else have Tonight by Enrique on repeat? lol

    I’m obsessed with Tonight! And Who Owns My Heart was one of my least faves from CBT until it came a single and now I love it!

    lol. I had already downloaded CBT but I never bothered to listen to it. But WOMY has prompted me to give the whole thing a listen. I really hope there are more hidden gems!!

    And Tonight is the only thing getting me through my exams. Sweet dreams lmao.

    I love Miley and i think she is a great performer but damn, this was a HOT MESS. She was out of breath half way through lol If Kylie Minogue’s “Get outta my way” vudeo and Kate Bush’s “Wuthering Heights” video had a threesome with Britney;s 2007 VMA performance this would be it’s baby :P

    I know she has issies atm though so i’ll cut her some slack but she better be on top form at the EMA’s.

    nvm the mistakes, I kinda agree with you on the whole 3some thing.The EMAs are tonight so she needs to get her act together and perform like her life depends on it in order to shut them haters up once and for all.

    WOMH has been a favorite of mine since the beginning so I was really happy that it was chosen as a single.
    HOWEVER, I’m MOSTLY DIAPPOINTED with MTV for not playing they video.I mean, wtf, the play Raise Your Glass which was released like yesterday, yet they completely snub this.At least in my country, that is.

    I think, at the EMAs, she should either perform CBT with the full choreography and stuff (see DWTS performance) or sit and play the piano singing Stay, which MUST be released as a single.
    It’s pretty obvious by now that the public doesn’t care about her CBT type of songs (in other words scratch Liberty Walk and Robot off the list).
    WOMH is flopping miserably (#7 in Belgium and a stunning #64 smash in Slovakia, in the Airplay chart that is), so I don’t see the point.If she released Permanent December, she would be ripped apart for the over the top use of autotune and for sounding like a K$ wannabe.Two More Lonely people was already considered once to be a single, but apparently got replaced by ERHIT cover, which kinda sucks in my opinion (the single CHOICE, that is, not the song).
    Also, I pray for My Heart Beats For Loved to be released someday (it’s my fav.)

    Anywayz, at the EMAs she needs to present sth spectacular, of high production.This looked kinda cheep to me.
    But still, it is true, Kylie would feel so proud of this.

    Does anyone feel weird that the EMAs are more relevant than the VMAs?Or the fact that the nominations are actually balanced and acurate?
    I mean, there are not 13 nominations for Gaga, just 5, Miley and Rihanna are nominated (both of whom were downright snubbed at the VMAs) and the fact that Eva Longoria presents.Not to mention the performers/performances.

    Miley rocks and CBT is so underrated, it has a lot of potential!

    I agree with @FUTURESTARdelux. This performance was a hot mess and she sounded so hoarse. I can only imagine going through the divorce of her parents though so I’ll keep it cute.

    I love the song though, she should release My Heart Beats for Love for sure, or Liberty Walk. Hot shit right there!

    I liked it. It’s better then some of her trashier tour performances (Kicking And Screaming in particularly). I think she remained dignified and had fun during it.

    I want her to release Stay or My Heart Beasts For Love either as her ballad single off this record.

    I adore CBT record and it’s my favourite album out this year for sure!
