Loreen drops two new singles ahead of ‘Heal’ album release

After her global hit “Euphoria” became the most successful Eurovision single in 20 years, Swedish diva Loreen is set to release her long-awaited debut album Heal on October 24th.
Ahead of the album’s release, Loreen’s dropped two new singles: a remixed version of her 2011 hit “My Heart Is Refusing Me” for international audiences, and new track called “Crying Out Your Name” for Sweden.
Both tunes are typical Loreen, all euro-angst and drama with bellowing vocals that few female artists could ever match. “Crying Out Your Name” is the more interesting of the two, avoiding a cliched eurodance sound with some big fat drum lines on the hook.
When it comes to Loreen, I’m more of a fan of her epic vocal skills and live performances than I am of her actual music, so I doubt that I’ll give Heal a listen when it drops, but I’m sure Scandipop fans are gonna utterly piss their panties over the disc.
Let me know what you think of Loreen’s latest.
