Listen to Destiny’s Child’s Dusty Old Leftover “Nuclear”

Beyonce is really throwing everything she can at the wall for her big comeback and hoping that something sticks. Anything this bitch can think of, she’s doing. A HBO documentary, Super Bowl performance, slutty magazine covers, soft drink endorsements, and now to top it all off, she’s temporarily reuniting with Destiny’s Child. Bey will apparently be joined by her bandmates on stage at the Super Bowl for a publicity-grabbing performance of the group’s hits. It’s sad that she only uses Destiny’s Child when it’s beneficial to her, yet was happy to let the group rot for the past decade while her solo career was fire while Michelle and Kelly were one flop away from collecting welfare cheques.

The Super Bowl performance is also being used to plug some new budget DC compilation called Love Songs, which comes with a “new” Pharrell Williams-produced track called “Nuclear”. It’s being billed as a new Destiny’s Child recording, but I’m betting that it’s probably a Destiny Fulfilled leftover that’s received a bit of a touch up for 2013.

“Nuclear” is a relatively hookless number which sees the girls cooing softly over a moody breakbeat, with flourishes of ’90s synths house synths here and there. It certainly screams “BONUS TRACK!” rather than “COMEBACK SINGLE!”, and won’t be sending them back to the top of the charts any time soon. I personally like it, but many others won’t.

But hey, at least it’s better than “Run the World”, right?

    They’re only releasing this compilation album because it’s the group’s last album in their contract with Columbia…there is no BIG group comeback, Kelly and Michelle MIGHT (still a rumor) join Beyonce on stage at the Super Bowl but that’s not for a DC3 comeback as you claim

    There is no Destiny’s Child comeback though so nice try…a few months ago Matthew Knowles said the group would release 2 new albums…the 1st was that “Playlist: The Best of…” compilation album, and “Love Songs” is the 2nd which is composed of love inspired songs from their past albums and this 1 new song…those 2 compilation albums completes the group’s contract with Columbia Records

Queen Bey set eyes agog last week when she introduced the sport of underwear football to the world in the pages of GQ, and with a Super Bowl halftime show, Destiny’s Child reunion and possible new solo album to promote, the odds were good that B could challenge for the Nakedest Pop Star of 2013 title.

    But Rihanna didn’t get to be the Nakedest Pop Star of 2012 by resting on her laurels. If Beyonce thinks she can just claim the throne without a fight, she’s got another thing coming. Behold Rihanna’s landmark seven covers for the February/March issue of Complex, each themed for one of her albums, (yes, despite recent events the numerology thing is still going on) which demonstrate Rih-Rih’s scantily-clad magazine cover game is still second to none.

    1. This aint 2006…Who the hell needs a Destiny’s Child album? They gave us like 2 good albums. Its over. 2. Nothing about Beyonce is fascinating. The girl sounds like she has autism in interviews. She uses shit to get attention and her announcing she had a miscarriage has to be the cherry on top. Why did the public need to know that? She has that Michael Jackson syndrome. He loved attention too and instead of releasing great music they use other things for attention. Surgeries, pregnancies and their children. its all sad. Beyonce’s last good album was in 2006 and even that was Baltimore Club music that she most likely didnt write. We still dont know who she is through her music yet faggots praise her. For what?     i dont even think Beyonce wanted to reunite with them in the first place. they would obviously distort the lttle image she has goping on for herself now. -well, Kelly is doing well, but sadly i dont know about Michelle
