Listen: Shakira & Dizzee Rascal go crazy on new single “Loca”.

It’s been less than a year since Shakira graced us with her criminally-underrated pop album She Wolf, but she’s already back and ready to do it all again with the release of her brand new single “Loca”.

The song features British rapper Dizzee Rascal, and is essentially a cover, or remake,  of El Cata’s underground hit “Ella es loca con su tigre”. With it’s sexy, Latin flavors and exotic influences, “Loca” could easily be labelled as a return to the ‘old’ Shakira, but the song’s heavy Cuban-influences and the addition of grime king Dizzee Rascal show that Shakira is still exploring new territory after fifteen years in the business.

“Loca” is fresh, fun, sexy, infectious, and all around ridiculously amazing. She really hasn’t had a single this hot since “La Tortura”.

    omg, this track is just soooooo effing sexy tho! It’s like an eargasm to me! It’s like a more sensual “Hips Don’t Lie” and to be frank…it gives me visions of me and Shakira doin the horizontal mumbo. ;)

    Correction on comment made above the song “Loca” is not a Cuban influence….Its a song written and created by an Underground spanish hiphop artisit very well known in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC known as EL CATA.

    Ohh one more thing…The song says…Ella es loca con su tiguere..Which means shes crazy with her Tiger…Yet in the Dominican Republic and in most Latin America when someone says She Loca con su tiguere its a way of saying thats she crazy with/for her man.Example….If a girl from the walks away from her group friends to be with a guy…Usually girls would say…let her go “ella es loca con su tiguere”.
