Listen: Nicole Scherzinger takes another shot at solo stardom with new single “Nobody Can Change Me”.

Almost three years after her original shot at solo success with “Whatever U Like”, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has dusted off the cobwebs and finally returned with her long awaited new ‘first’ single “Nobody Can Change Me”.

Nicky previously described the song as sounding similar to the stuff she’s recorded with her group the Pussycat Dolls, and her description wasn’t far off. “Nobody Can Change Me” is a simple, cutsey-pie, radio friendly pop song. Nothing more, nothing less.

It doesn’t exactly scream “SUPERSTAR SMASH” on first listen, but there’s something quite uplifting and positive about the song that unexpectedly pulls you in and has you feeling good every time the chorus hits.

“Nobody Can Change Me” sounds like PCD at their best, and believe it or not, that’s a very good thing.

    Lol yes Kiley she always sounds like she’s screaming.

    I really like this because it isn’t so ambitious or over the top. It’s really simple, cute and catchy and I think it will grow on a lot of people after they hear it multiple times.

    hmmm when she said she was keeping a PCD sound i thought she meant something like When I Grow Up, Baby Love was better than this IMO

    I was hoping for something that would be very like in your face like the way “When I grow Up” was but this is just like another “eh” type song like “Supervillian” or “baby love” lol even though this is way better than “Baby love”

    No chance. She had her shot and it didn’t work. She will never be a Fergie or Jlo who suddenly became huge in their 30′s. She’ll be lucky for mid level success, and possibly some more major hits with PCD.
